Dr. Alex Trigonis is quite probably the most dishonest and unethical dental practitioner that I've…read moreever encountered. My son Michael was treated by Dr. Trigonis in 2012. I have four main issues with this treatment: (1) Dr. Trigonis enormously overstated his familiarity with jaw surgery. Also, when he saw how concerned my wife and I were about the prospect of our son having jaw surgery, he revised his initial opinion that "your son's condition cannot be corrected without surgery", holding out the false hope that a non-surgical treatment was possible. Ultimately, four other dental experts--Dr. William Arnett (dental surgeon), Dr. George Lyman (pediatric dentist and professor of dentistry), Dr. Robert Kiken (dental surgeon), and Dr. Stewart White (orthodontist)--agreed that a combination of jaw surgery and orthodontia (Dr. Trigonis' original recommendation) was the only good option. (2) Dr. Trigonis has admitted in writing to having violated our rights to informed consent. He claims that he decided without our consent to take the non-surgical route for treating our son. (I believe that this was actually a false admission, in that he was attempting to cover up having incompetently prepared my son for the surgery, but this is hard to prove). Either way, per long-established legal precedent, Dr. Trigonis' actions constitute dental malpractice. (3) When the jaw surgeon (Dr. William Arnett) informed me that my son's orthodontic preparation was not correct, and that rework would be required to address the problems, Dr. Trigonis demanded more money to fix his work. Given the concerns about his honesty and competence, I decided to switch to another practitioner (Dr. Stewart White). [Between Drs. White and Arnett, my son's dental problems were efficiently and professional corrected.] (4) There is one additional issue that is worth mentioning: When I brought Dr. Trigonis to small claims court, he falsified the dates of treatment. A detailed discussion of the small claims case can be found here: http://phillipmfeldman.org/history/miscellany/small_claims.html

Naturally, I asked…read moreseveral questions--not so much about the dental procedure, but about the anesthesia itself, since I was nervous. I was respectful, but admittedly anxious. Instead of reassurance, the doctor told me he's "running a business". He also suggested I get a second opinion if I wanted. That was discouraging, but what happened afterward was even more upsetting. When I called the next day to schedule the procedure, the staff informed me that the doctor had decided he would "prefer not to do the procedure" and advised me to seek care elsewhere. Looking back, I should have known something was off--the staff rushed us out at the end of the appointment and didn't even print the treatment plan until I specifically asked for it. This office comes highly recommended, but our experience left me feeling that patient care and compassion were treated as less important than business concerns. Parents should be able to ask questions about their child's safety without being dismissed or turned away. If you're an educated mother who asks questions, I would avoid this dental office.

As to be expected, our daughter lost her marbles during the quick exam/cleaning, but she immediately cheered up after. From check in to finish, the total time was 20 minutes. The entire staff was so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable! We are so happy we now have a dental home for our daughter.

I mean she literally asks me when is her next appointment and anytime we are in the area she'll point out and proudly say this place is her dentisit. I will admit when Dr Lee said she was leaving I was devastated and worried who will replace her. I initially met Dr Mindi, who replaced Dr Lee, at a event at my kids school. I was impressed that the doctor was there because normally at these events I expect to see other representatives of the business not the doctor. I think this speaks volumes. She was immediately really kind and welcoming which made me feel much better about our upcoming visit. The next visit felt just like it normally would even when Dr Lee was there. All the office staff, assistants, etc were welcoming and kind- didnt miss a beat. I never felt any red flag. It felt like my kid is in good hands. Dr Mindi gives me the feeling that she is still concerned of my child's care and will answer any questions I would have. I had no issues at all. With that being said, the many recent negative reviews I've seen is absolutely not what I experienced and quiet surprising for me to read. I genuinely question what exactly happened. Ultimately - my kiddo still looks forward to her dentist appointments.

Our very fearful and nervous son recently had dental work done and we could not have been happier with how things were handled. The best thing about this office is the extra time and care they take to talk to families. We also love that there are options here. Dr Mindi doesn't push anything. She gives you the information and allows you to make a choice based on what's best for your family with no judgement. If you have questions, she is there to answer them. You can tell Dr. Mindi truly loves her job and wants what is best for your child. She isn't going to do unnecessary work like so many pediatric dentists. Her office is fun and super child friendly. We Highly recommend her! 10/10
