I was sure I'd reviewed them previously. This dentist became the reason my son sees a dentist at all. They're all very kind. It's like one of those family places, where all the staff seem like family. They're usually friendlier than I require as I'm kind of introverted these days and they seem genuinely interested in learning about their clients and parents. My son is an older one and I'm just glad they're still willing or able to see him at their office. In my opinion, they've got the newest and greatest equipment (compared to anyone I've been to personally) and I'll keep taking the kid there as long as they'll allow me. read more

Honest talk: I took my 6 and 8 year old here because of the amazing reviews. That said, unfortunately, we've since decided to go elsewhere. I chose Children's Dental Village because of the great reviews, they seemed child focused all the way around, and I know braces will be in my children's future. One stop shopping. Our 8yo has ADHD but is gratefully easy breezy. His past 3 cleanings and X-rays have gone off without a hitch. Our anxious 6yo is another story. One thing our 6yo does not work well with is change, especially when it is sudden. Another thing she does not work well with is working with male strangers. Our initial visits had been set with Dr. Padilla, who is a female dentist. Both my kids liked her. We had cleanings in the main open area but then we went in a private room to meet with Dr. Padilla. I have auditory processing issues, so this privacy and more quiet sensory space was helpful. This past visit was our 6yo's second visit. We were not informed that we would not see Dr. Padilla. Our 6yo had agreed on this visit to do x-rays, which was a big step for her (she was terrified of doing it on her first visit). She was calm and did well for the 2 tiny x-rays they did, however she was visibly anxious and tense having Dr. Lepetich look in her mouth. He had a face mask on the entire time, I don't recall if he ever sincerely introduced himself to any of us, he called me 'mama' to get my attention, showed me her very blurry X-rays on a screen in the main public space while he sat down, and we had a crowd of 3 other dental assistants standing around us which felt both intimidating and distracting. He told me that she needed a crown and a filling which I found confusing, told me the front desk would give me more information and sent me on my way. I felt like we were treated like a number instead of people. This would be my daughters first major dental procedure, and I felt like it was treated as ordinary. They casually mentioned sedating her with a 'juice' that they assumed she would take without question (and from previous experience I KNOW she is very picky about juice so I already saw that not going well) and told me not to tell her about all of it because it would 'just make her more difficult', which works against my personal moral code. She was already anxious about everything that had happened that visit so I had a bad gut feeling. The estimate cost we'd be paying was sticker shock to put it mildly, and I was told the office would call me the following day to give me exact numbers after they talked to my dental insurance but I still haven't heard from them. I have since sought a second opinion with my personal dentist who took multiple clear X-rays and pictures of the teeth that had areas of concern, spoke to me one on one in a private setting, and answered my questions in a calm environment. They said the areas may only require 2 fillings, that a crown MIGHT be needed, but would only be done if absolutely necessary. They said they do not use sedation 'juice', but do provide nitrous. My daughter had much better experience with both the male dentist and his female assistants. She did not express any anxiety in returning. So yeah, we're leaving. Pretty bummed about it since our kids loved their office, but comfortable with our decision to follow our gut and go somewhere else to reduce dental anxiety. More power to all the other 'best ever' reviews. I'm only sad it wasn't our personal experience. read more

They are great. This is a very safe and respectful place for kids. You are able to sit with your kid no matter how old. Staff is friendly and patient as well as very knowledgeable. The office is full of super interesting stuff to help calm kids' anxiety. They encourage questions and physically show you the issues with your kid's teeth. You don't just have to take their word for it. I'm very surprised at how informed you are kept every step of the process. Billing is clear. I know what I'm going to pay at every visit. If you need treatments like fillings or sealants, they give you an itemized bill of everything and it's price before you schedule. I wish I'd found them before my oldest got their braces at a large orthodontist at least my youngest will have a better experience! It is important to have an office that is pediatric focused. It takes a special person to put their hands into a kid's mouth! read more

The amount of change I've seen in my daughter's teeth in just the few months she's had braces is incredible. They truly know what they're doing.
