I'm always amazed that we drive to the "big" cities to purchase the items we need. When in fact a store like Ace Hardware is right in our backyard. In Ace Hardware is River's Edge Floral.
This last May my mother passed away and we were facing the daunting task of picking out a casket spray. We were grateful that Lori Taylor the floral manager, walked us through this difficult process. We picked out a spray and it looked just beautiful the day of the funeral.
The most amazing accomplishment by River's Edge Floral was the unique request by my father to have a Phalgenopsis Orchid on a prayer book that my mother carried years ago for their wedding day. Lori told us that finding a orchid like we wanted was next to impossible to get on such short notice. She said she'd do the best she could. I had prepared my father that
his request just wasn't possible. To our surprise, Lori was able to accomplish the impossible and found an exquisite Orchid just like we had hoped for on my mother's prayer book in her hands.
