They just focus on Covid testing if you have to come here for a pre-employment physical try not to. They don't honor appointments.

He was very friendly, understanding, and taught us how to swaddle and break down some parenting myths. We decided to use Dr Mo as our pediatrician as he was close to our home in Lyndhurst. We could relate to his stories of his own children and he was open to all questions about our precious little boy. His positive attitude and crazy socks always would brighten our(child's) day in times of sickness and checkup shots. The office had been crowded at times but the staff could always accommodate our appointment requests and had Saturday visits as well. We have since moved 45 minutes away to Morris County but we feel Dr Mo's care is worth the trip and his care and association with Hackensack hospital gives our child everything he needs. Keep up the good work.

The service and medical competency is erratic. I do not recommend this practice to any individual who cares about their family health. This morning 8:25am on a Saturday I went with my husband for his Wellness visit. We were the second patient. We got thee they had such a SNALL room I had to squat and sit on my bottom in the room. If my child was sick I would of been more furious. I asked the medical assistant, they cut back so no 'licensed' medical staff except the one seems patients on weekends, if there was a room were I could sit. Since we were the 2nd patient. She said yes but didn't move us. I'm 58 and my kegs were killing me! Then she told us our Md was not that morning. The practice is run horribly even the staff know it. My husband & I actually work at hospitals in NYC and for us to write a negative review is really big. We took off and drove to the primary location to see a Md. Medicine is a business. Our insurance pays the sane fir a visit whether it's Md or NP. But the level of experience and knowledge is paramount and vastly different.

He wasn't pushy about going to their practice but we felt comfortable enough so thought it wouldn't hurt to try them out. My son will be going for his 9 month checkup next week with Dr Wong and we couldn't be happier with them! My son adores Dr Wong and he's the doctor we primarily see. So I'll call out the good and the bad from my perspective. The good is the doctors run a very good practice as far as being attentive to parents (contacting doctors with concerns, answering all questions without rushing you, not being pushing about dos and donts, offering a lot of information about everything from vaccinations to sleeping habits), the nurses are super sweet and patient and make sure babies and parents feel comfortable (I really appreciate the fact that they put all newborn babies immediately into either exam rooms or somewhere more private so they aren't as exposed as they would be in the waiting room), and they don't overbook days which I think is a huge plus because then wait times are never too long unless there's an unexpected case of a difficult situation (and I know they definitely don't overbook because I tried to squeeze in once or twice and couldn't lol I both respected them for doing this and was upset at the same time haha). The exam rooms and waiting rooms at the Ramsey office is very updated and clean despite the building itself being as old as dirt and the entrance being a little confusing. The Hackensack office could definitely use a little updating esp in the waiting room but they do have the little sitting booth behind reception which is perfect for parents with newborns. Oh and both locations have designated parking spots for the practice patients! Another big plus! The bad I could only really call out is the front desk at the Hackensack office kind of hangs out and gossips way too much. The front desk at the Ramsey office is great and even came out to show us the entrance. At Hackensack, once we were standing at the reception window for awhile, waiting for the reception to stop talking about some personal affairs with the staff. And then having to repeat information to her a couple times after saying it because she wasn't really paying attention. There were two cases when I booked appointments and she put the wrong time and I never found out til they called to confirm. So be mindful of that. Also they don't let you book doctors more than two months in advance which is sometimes even harder during the summer time and holidays. I'm also not a huge fan of the on-call nurse service. I've called a few times and she would give me textbook advice that Dr. Google could have provided without the wait time on the phone. I was glad that when I raised that I tried everything they did eventually contact our doctor but it was like calling Dell support and they ask you if your laptop is plugged in... But anyways... overall, very happy with the practice. I see us sticking with Dr Wong :)

My child is sick - I don't care if there is only one doctor in. Seriously?!?! Its like they are doing me a favor by letting my child who has been coming to you since birth. I don't need the attitude. I absolutely give 5 stars to the day time nurses I had during my time in 3LW. The night shift I cannot say the same. Finally one of the APNs was able to escalate my MRI up about 8 hours earlier. I came to Hackensack because they're supposed to have an amazing triage process and broad range of care. I had seen and witnessed so many patients with non emergency issues coming to the hospital and passing me over for things they should be going to an urgent care or their normal PCP for. After 3 days I left with zero diagnosis or information about my condition. A complete waste of my time coming here.

In conversations before the bris, I knew that my friend was nervous about the process, the ceremony, and the actual circumcision. I can say with confidence that Dr. Rumbak put the family's mind at ease both with her expertise and her gentle approach. As a "spectator" at the ceremony, Dr. Rumbak passed around sheets so we can all follow along and feel part of the ceremony, and explained what different blessings meant. She also added some Jewish text in a modern and relevant way, which I appreciated, and my family continued to discuss post ceremony. The sweet baby did super well and was calm throughout the entire process. Truthfully, I didn't even know when the actual circumcision actually happened because she was so gentle and discrete. At the end of the ceremony, many people went up to Dr. Rumbak to compliment her on one of the best brit mila's they ever went to, and many asked for her card (including my mom for our temple!). She has a great business partner in Shachar, who socialized with the guests of the ceremony, kept everything organized, and was just an all around stand up guy. Oh, and how great that she is a mohel AND a doctor. Talk about putting your mind at ease..that will definitely do it. Highly recommend.

Would have loved so much to give a glowing review of Dr. Rumbak but unfortunately we look back on…read morethe day of my son's bris and what transpired after with a lot of sadness. Dr. Rumbak deserves credit and thanks for her discretion in not circumcising our son the day of his bris due to a urological condition she noticed in her ore-ceremony examination. We are thankful for that. She performed what essentially worked out to a baby naming ceremony for us. Obviously the day was emotional to begin with and the news she couldn't circumcise was extremely disappointing and heartbreaking since this was a day we looked forward to for so long. In the days after the bris we were able to absorb the events better and realized exactly what happened. To begin with, my wife asked for a program to keep as they were being collected (yes, collected), and the response was, "I collect them." She said the same to my mom (baby's grandma). We consider this ridiculous - even if the baby's grandparents couldn't have one, at least the parents should. When I emailed Dr. Rumbak about the issue I'm about to describe, I also mentioned the program and that part of my email was left unaddressed. Here's the major problem, though. We paid $800 for a circumcision plus $150 for travel from Manhattan to Nassau. We were happy to do this because we really liked Dr. Rumbak on the phone. However, after the bris, we had a bit of a realization that really irked us. Why were we never offered any kind of refund for the circumcision not being performed? It really should have been offered that day, on the spot, but it wasn't. Days and weeks turned to months and we still were never offered anything. We didn't even get an email or phone call to check on our son given the medical issue Dr. Rumbak identified. This was surprising given the emotional nature of the day but also because part of Dr. Rumbak's service (advertised on her web site and vouched for in her reviews) is her frequent follow up with the family. Finally after a few months, I emailed her explaining we feel we are owed some kind of refund due to the most critical part of the ceremony, the circumcision, not being performed. It is that expertise for which we paid. Dr. Rumbak issued a $200 refund, saying that the rate for a baby naming is $600. It's unfortunate such a beautiful day was soured by the experience we had. As new parents we feel we were, in a way, taken advantage of. Dr. Rumbak did ultimately give some money back, but we feel we shouldn't have had to ask. Experiences like this are what make people cynical about organized religion. The right thing to do would have been to give us a refund without us having to ask. We would not recommend her.
