Bob & Julie Schimerowski took over the long established resort in 2017 and did a complete renovation. There are six well-cared for cabins that accommodate from two to six bedrooms. The cabins come well equipped with kitchen supplies and are air conditioned. The resort is super kid friendly (but no pets), has the perfect swimming area for kids, as well as a pristine lake. There is an abundance of fish that can be caught from the many docks. There are several pontoon boats that can be rented by the half-day, full day, or week. All other boats and equipment can be used for free. These include peddle boats, canoes, kyacks, peddle bikes, and a water slide, as well as life jackets, paddles, etc. They also have many land games from badminton to corn hole, as well as many others. There is a central lodge with many additional games, as well as ice cream, and a washer dryer (the washer/drier have small charges to use). Bob and Julie add new amenities every year. I really appreciate their responsiveness to any issue, question, or request. They are very friendly, as well as professional. This place deserves six out of five stars!

We had rented a lakehouse down the street from this resort but were in need of a pontoon boat. They were extremely helpful, sweet, price was great, and the transaction was as easy as pie. We had a great time on the lake. The boat was in great condition and so easy to use. Any person who has not driven a boat could drive these pontoons! I have not had a better customer satisfaction experience like I had with the Dice family. I highly recommend this place!

They are unbelievably money-grubby and extremely poor hosts! They don't allow you to have local guests, and in fact, charge you additional if you do! They watch every move you make and take a tally of anything you touch (for example, if you need to use a life preserver they charge you by the hour for something so ratty you don't even want to put it on your body!). I've heard there is great fishing (not a fisher person myself). The indoor pool is nearly finished and will surely be a showplace. The playground is fairly new and very well kept. There's a bar and grill with good food, along with occasional live music. The views are great and they rent boats/ pontoons for any camper without one.

We're in a fishing league with friends and this lake was our destination lake for the last event…read more We like to camp and this was the only place with openings for a camper. Poor reviews on other platforms but we thought it was great. The camp sights had trees and brush for some privacy. It was quiet and very clean. The bath house was dated but cleaned every day. We paid $15 per night for a boat lift. The family that owns it was very friendly and helpful with fishing tips. We'd go back.

We had very low expectations going in, but ended up being pleasantly surprised and had TONS of fun! We stayed in Cabin #5, which is the most private. We loved the location and front window view of Lake Minnewaska. Though everything was a little "dated," the cabin was very clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room, though we spent most of our time outside of the cabin! Firewood readily available for purchase and lots of rental options. We rented the pontoon and had a blast. Randy and Judie (the owners) are very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable cabin experience on a beautiful Minnesota lake!
