Lots of early morning fisherman parked in the lot but we didn't hear a thing. The bathroom was a good size and sparkling clean. Cute shower curtain with a dock/lake on it! Breakfast was serve yourself and they had a good assortment of bagels/english muffins/cereal/oatmeal/waffles. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa and milk (& maybe juice? I'm not a juice drinker). There is a pool as well as a conference center here too. They had a fireplace in the lobby plus some seating and games/books. This treasure of a roadside inn is clean and comfortable, with an open, welcoming lobby and sitting/dining area, and each room is designed with a unique theme (we stayed in the "Music Notes" room flanked by other rooms such as "Lighthouse," "The Lodge," and "Ooh, La, La Paris.") Our music-themed room was adorned with a drum pendant light, guitars, artwork, etc., which inspired us to really look at and appreciate this space. And you know how hotels that care crisply fold the edge of the toilet paper roll? This place (in a first for me) folds edges into a rose. How cute is that? Pre-dogs, we used to stay at fine hotels, but The Four Seasons can't match this place for thoughtfulness and detail, dollar for dollar. The restaurant required guests to purchase the full breakfast menu to receive service. Guests couldn't just order a piece of toast and a cup of coffee like at other Hiltons.This proves once again that I'm right--read my review of Wyndham. Companies like this and others don't care about the customer; they care about how much money they make at the end of the month, and if a customer is denied a piece of toast, they don't care. There are people who can't or don't want to eat an full American breakfast. Do you understand? But no, they don't care, and on top of that, they let themselves be pushed around--or not--by a restaurant that's just a drop in the bucket compared to the Hilton's market share. My favorite was the scrambled eggs with smoked kielbasa's on the side. There were little single serve peanut butter and jelly containers as well as butter. There was a refrigerator with fruit yogurt, milk, packages with two hard boiled eggs and for the children there was a fruit cup, apple sauce cup, Brekkies (a soft chocolate chip, oat and flax) cookie and last but not least Uncrustables. That should be the whole review…read more The booking was made after midnight on June 19, 2026, and Hotels.com auto-rolled check-in to 3 PM that same day -- standard behavior for that platform. When I tried to check in, the desk clerk couldn't find the reservation under the date she expected, refused to take the confirmation number when I offered it (three times), and couldn't process the booking even after I offered to pay for an additional night to make her assumed date work. She confirmed the property had vacancies. The manager who came out was rude and dismissive, told me we couldn't have a room because the reservation was "for later," and could not say what date it was when asked. Lobby was dirty and smelled like mildew and old cooking. We left. Wyndham corporate complaint and credit card dispute filed. If you book this property through any OTA, expect them to not honor it.

Bathroom was good sized, well lit and functional. Hot water was hot. There is a large indoor pool available, but I did not have the time to do anything there. They offer a free breakfast in the morning but to be honest, it was very basic. Coffee was decent however. The building is situated on the edge of a strip mall and there is an Italian sports bar there if you feel the need to grab something to eat and watch the game. Parking lot was a bit small and cramped, but got the job done. Overall a solid 3-star hotel and I would stay here again if in the area.
