"Neighbors", also apparently long term residents, helped us get set up and leveled after our RV was delivered. Very quiet place, lots of deer, some guineaus (the bird), hummingbirds, and just a generally peaceful atmosphere. Picnic table at each spot. Not meant to be a luxury park, but super relaxing. This being our first time living the RV lifestyle, we love it!!! Thanks for a fantastic stay!!!

Small, but perfect for us because it was not overrun with people in golf carts, 4 wheelers, etc. The owners, Lyn & Carol-anne, have their residence right next door, and are available for any issues or questions. And they delivered warm pumpkin bread loaves to all campers on Thanksgiving! They have built a great escape with this RV park. There is also a house, an apartment, and a renovated RV available for rent. Bandera is about 10-15 minutes away, if you have to "do something". Highly recommended. We will be back!

She led us to…read moreour site and gave us a quick rundown of some of the park rules (trash, laundry, parking, etc). As others have said, there was a complimentary mason jar of deer corn on our picnic table and a printed sheet of park info. Lyn stopped by to say hello while we were setting up. He seems to always have something to keep him busy in the park...always on the go. They live up the hill, above the park, so they're close by if you need anything. There are two shower/restrooms: a converted horse trailer (so cool!) and the more traditional one that's part of the office building. The traditional one has a shower that is divine! Big and roomy, with real water pressure!!! The laundry is two/two deal, with each load costing a total of either $3 (your own laundry soap and dryer sheets) or $5 (their laundry soap and dryer sheets). The Wi-Fi is the best we've ever encountered! Never once were we knocked offline, no slow weak signal, we were able to stream as much as we wanted. It really was the best! This is a very small park and it feels more like you're hanging out in someone's backyard. Very cozy, very calm. Wildlife everywhere. We ended up buying 80 lbs of deer corn, strawberries, blueberries, cabbage, carrots, grapes and apples for the deer, as well as peanuts for the squirrel that lives in the knothole of the tree next to the deck. The wildlife was a big selling point in booking our stay here, and it did not disappoint: fawns, does, spikes, bucks, gray fox, raccoon, squirrels, cardinals, titmouses, doves and house finches were our visitors. I would imagine it's tough to get a reservation here during high season, but if you can, do it! You'll love it! (Word of caution...the last stretch of the drive here, maybe a quarter of a mile, is unmaintained gravel that requires a very slow crawl if you want to be kind to your rig. Take it slow and easy, and you'll be rewarded with a great stay at a lovely little gem of a park.)

She answered all our questions. We checked in and quickly hit the pool very close to our cabins. We never felt crowded as a matter of fact sometimes we were the only people in the pool. The river is low so we didn't bother when there was this big cool pool handy. We went into bandera one day for lunch and shopping and that was delightful. We bought more ice and provisions for the remainder of the weekend. We didn't leave again until check out.

Recently, we came across this resort while traveling. It certainly checks many boxes. It is new…read moreand clean. Most sites have concrete. Has indoor Pickleball courts. Indoor bar for cocktails. It seemed perfect. Calling back today in normal posted business hours to make reservations but no one will answer the local phone. Called the main number which happens to be a the Landstar Corporate number in North Carolina which apparently manages several RV Resorts.....and the same issue....it is impossible to talk with a real person....VERY impersonable. You are rerouted through a phone tree until you are finally asked to leave a message. I now see why the RV Resort is practically empty. It would appear the RV Sites are individually owned with Landstar/Riverwalk handling the reservations for the Owner's Site whenever they do not have it reserved for "personal" use. Great concept....if only you could reach someone to make a reservation or ask a question about the facility. I am glad I don't own one of the sites and am relying on Landstar/Riverwalk to assist in renting out my site. I hate having to beg someone to take my money. Attempted to call other Texas RV Resorts which that are managed by the same Landstar Corporation in N.C....only the get the same results......no one answers the phones. The other RV Resorts in Bandera are older, but they are clean, and they are staffed by real people that make you feel they want your business. UPDATE: After I posted my review, someone from Riverwalk Called me. The lady was very nice, but........was unable to make a reservation for me. You have to call the central reservation line if you want to make an in person reservation. What Riverwalk does not tell you upfront is about all the extra fees they charge. They charge an "Admin Fee" that allows them to take your reservation. A "Resort Fee" for the use of the resort. And a "Reservation Fee" to guarantee your reservation. Very quickly the affordable advertised rate become very pricey. Yep, the old fashion Price Bait and Switch. :(

The gate was a huge reason I chose this location specifically. Other than that, no complaints. The neighbors helped me with my hose leaking and mowed my grass. The river spot is incredible especially in the afternoon when the sun hits it just right .

Bibi met us at the office, she was very cordial, and engaging. The site is off the highway and South of Bandera. A short distance. I was a little reluctant about the site at first. They shut down the showers, but the laundry is open with a code. We did not need them. Bibi is always smiling and talkative and very cordial. We had questions about the place and she was very engaging. Some folks there were long term and very friendly and respectful. We would stay there again. Do not look for "fire rings" or picnic tables. The site is relaxing and friendly. BiBi will try to accommodate as best they can. AND if you are into craft brewing the " Bandera Ale Project" brewery is just across the highway. A cool place to hang out. Love it

We also had to play car swap with near-by family members a few times. They were very gracious in letting us do what we needed to do to make our visit as enjoyable as possible under the circumstances. We were also happy with how easy the check in and out procedures were. While staying at the park, we were able to keep to ourselves and never had any unexpected knocks on the door. Their sweet little kids were around but they too kept to themselves and were a delight when I brought my puppy to them to meet them. The park is conveniently located by Bandera but was not jammed packed and over priced. Very quiet and calm atmosphere. We will visit again for sure.

The people that run this ranch are not reputable. They took our group's deposit for a reservation…read morein 2024 last year. Recently, when they figured out that they are in the path of the total eclipse during the time of our reserved stay, they jacked up the price by over 10X and told us to pony up more money! When we refused, they cancelled the reservation. And now they are stalling on the refund. This is no way to treat customers and no way to run a business. Take your business elsewhere.

Came here to rent a kayak for a Guadalupe River trip from FM 474. Was definitely awesome to locate…read morethis place in the middle of COVID with so many outfitters not renting for the time being. Had absolutely no issues, they helped load kayaks into the truck and were down the earth friendly. We rented 2, 2-person kayaks, double wide. From reserving them on the phone to meeting in person, everyone is chill. Will was friendly on the phone and in person. Kept his word on pricing. Definitely recommend these guys.
