The next day they couldn't get room service to clean my room until 3 hours later. I got 10% off for the inconvenience but still were paying good money to stay and this is what I was presented with. This is a pretty new RV park with full utilities included sewer connections for each slip as well…read moreas water and electricity. Broadband WiFi is available in the park too. Many sites have partial shade. I camped in #30 and it was shaded all morning. In addition to the half court basketball ball court, there is a portable tennis net and two sets of corn hole games. There are no grills so bring your own. There are plenty of restaurants, gas stations and a Walmart within a 10 minute drive.

From Amarillo to Galveston, looking for something out of the ordinary, we some how ended up at the Texas Ranger and glad we did. Clean, comfortable, quiet and a very rustic feel the owners have done a great job on the place. Gary and Paula, the managers, did a great job of making us feel at home. There isn't much around. We brought dinner with us (micro wave in room) and enjoyed dinner with a view after a nice swim in the pool. One thing that is not mentioned on their web site is that the room are adjoining, which is perfect if you have kids. Next time I'm going have to you the bbq area. It looked fun. Enjoy you stay!

It's set off of the owner's residence but still feels very private. We used the hot tub each day and night and it was so relaxing. It felt like you were in the middle of the woods. I sat in the hot tub with a book and a glass of wine each night. The breakfasts were amazing! The owners were kind and personable without hovering. Breakfast was personally delivered each morning to our cottage. I preferred this over having to get dressed and hang out with other guests as we've experienced in other bed and breakfasts. The local area is cute with restaurants and a lovely bookshop called Intermission. You must check it out!

I think they were truly concerned about me as a person, because I'm not a troublemaker or doing drugs and all that. Just another human trying to get things in life straightened out. The man in the office just told me that if I need anything, come on down or call me. I've worked hospitality since my early 20's as a Night Auditor mostly, and this is the way a Motel or Hotel should be run. With kindness and knowing that the guests aren't just numbers.
