5 Stars- I was convinced I had major issues with my cars…read moreCVT transmission and needed it replaced (I was told to never Google health concerns or car issues ever again :) . After explaining the sounds and symptoms I was assured that the problem was not the transmission and that it only needed some new spark plugs and that my engine light was on because of a leaky gas cap, that's it! We were shuttled by Amber to a great spot for lunch while my car was fixed, same day. I think I found my new favourite go-to Garage!

Alex and Kyle are in the business of NOT being honest. I was quoted $600 to remove, diagnose and put back. After they diagnosed the quote came in the rebuilt by 2011 Jeep Wrangler transmission for over $4500. This was way above the industry standard for a rebuild which is no more than $3000. They would not provide me with a breakdown of the parts they needed to replace but verbally told me it was just the gears. Kyle told me he didn't have the time to write down all the parts. After I decided to go with someone else. They put all my transmission parts outside on their drive way for me to pick up. Attached are pictures of my parts left outside. This is not how you do business! I have since filed a complaint with the consumer protection act. I ended up going to triple A transmission in Newmarket and they ended up charging me $2700 flat.

Vasco the owner and Bradford native is like the air traffic controller of this extremely busy 6 bay shop. The receptionist takes the order and details over the phone or in person (in person, in my case), when the vehicle comes in Vasco comes out and gets all the details, inspects it and he determines the likely cause with his extensive experience and relays this to the technician that will be working on it. There is no time spent scratching heads, they know their craft and execute it to perfection. Be prepared as it can be 2 weeks to get an appointment, but they and my vehicle were worth it! My Honda Element is a 2005 and I love my element, even though it's in great condition, they didn't mind that she was 'ahem' "mature" and over 200kms, they gave her the same treatment as the young cars and she runs like new! (so excited). Get the early appointment, come early and don't be late because they'll be a slew of customers behind you. They stand by their work after I mentioned a weld had been missed by a previous shop (they ask if they had done it they would have fixed it for free... Cool. Good to know!) Three other shops previously could not fix the issue, until this one - they knew exactly what and why it had happened, and how to fix it. If it happens to be an anomaly (like a transmission output sensor vehicle in limp mode on my dad's Chrysler 300) they will recommend a shop who can fix it. I like that they want the best and most efficient outcome for the customer and themselves. BTW they like baked goods :) (especially danishes) and are very appreciative if they come by the way of their desk. Hint hint. haha.
