Total crook. Told me my insurance covered getting some fillings replaced except for $500, which I paid out of pocket. Three months later they sent one bill for $2100 to an address I didn't even live at. In less than a year they sent it to collections without so much as a word to me--I was still a patient there. Absolutely horrifying! Not to mention I was charged upwards of $450 for each filling replaced. The average is $200. They are highway robbers--unethical and dishonest. Stay away. read more

I really like Riverview dental. The dentist there is knowledgeable and doesn't try to get you to do unnecessary treatments. Staff is very professional and polite. Every room here seems to be facing the river, which is nice and helped me to relax. They also have TVs in the rooms to add an extra distraction while they are working on your teeth. As a bonus, the staff let me log into my Crunchyroll account and watch anime while they worked. (They are able to mirror the computer on the Tv!). The most important aspect is that they numb you up and wait v unroll you are completely numb before they start any work. I will be returning here for any dental needs because the dentist and the staff really go the extra mile. read more

Dr. Felt is The best because he patiently answered all of my questions about my teeth and the procedures I'm having with the utmost professionalism and kindness. I initially went there to have a cleaning and exam. They were super friendly upon my arrival, and during my intake paperwork, talking to me about my interests and hobbies and where I worked. They asked me for the FIRST time what I hoped to achieve by visiting their office. I stated that I wanted to prioritize any kind of dental health issues, since I hadn't been to a dentist for a couple years. I had an abscess that I wanted looked at, that had been there for a year and was of some concern. After my cleaning and X-rays, The hygienist AGAIN asked what kind of work I wanted to achieve while I was there. I gave the same response. They took photos of my entire face, and teeth, Which I thought was very odd. I've never had any other dentist office do this before. Then, I met Doctor Felt. He reviewed my xrays and told the hygienist problem areas to mark on my records. AGAIN, I was asked what I was hoping to achieve by visiting their dentist office. And AGAIN I reiterated my original answer. He said he couldn't discuss anything further and I would have to schedule an appointment for a consultation on procedures and costs. Fast forward to my consultation a couple weeks later. The receptionist asked me if I had brought the photos of my face and teeth? I mentioned that nobody had told me to bring those. They insisted they had to have it, and re-printed the pictures. Anyway, Doctor Felt came and went over the x-rays like he had done when I first met him. He had had the hygienist mark on my record what were problematic areas in my prior appointment. ONCE AGAIN, he asked me what I wanted done. And I ONCE AGAIN had to tell him that I wanted to get any cavities or dental health issues addressed. And he asked me what specifically I wanted done. And I said I don't know, what appears to be highest priority? And then he just listed off a bunch of things he had already mentioned. I am not a dentist, I do not know what would be a higher priority than others. I am having to repeat myself numerous times as to what kind of dental care I want, and getting relatively open ended feedback. Instead of picking and choosing procedures that needed to be done sooner than others, Doctor Felt gave me a general estimate for ALL of the procedures. I asked- what about with my insurance? Doctor felt replied (and i'm paraphrasing) "insurance is like a helper. You would pay us up front for the procedures, which would get you a slight discount. Or sign up for a monthly payment plan. Insurance will either send you a check afterwards to repay you, or they will send the money to us, and we'll cut you a check." I got frustrated with this response. I told Doctor felt I couldn't afford all of those procedures at once and cannot commit to that kind of money. I said I would like to just start off with whatever is highest priority, and schedule appointments accordingly, so I can pay for things as they come along. And so he asked me again, what it was that I wanted to do. I got really upset, repeated that I've been repeating myself. I don't know what I should have done. He rattled off a list of issues, and asked again what I wanted done. And at this point I just walked out. We were going in circles. Super unhelpful. read more
