Instead of reaching out through a phone call, voicemail, email, or certified mail, they left a SUMMONS NOTICE -- with no warning or clear communication beforehand. We paid the balance once we found out, but this is a terrible and disrespectful way to treat loyal patients. There was no transparency or effort to explain the charge in advance, and it left us blindsided. I strongly urge this office to rethink how they handle patient communication and billing issues.

Upon investigating with my insurance provider myself, I discovered the claim was never processed because the office failed to submit the required clinical visit notes and basic information regarding the dentist's license number. Despite my relocation out of state, I am still the one facilitating communication that the office should have handled years ago. Their lack of administrative follow-through and poor coordination with insurance providers is unacceptable. Any anxiety I had about having a root canal was completely wasted anxiety -- there was not even a hint of pain during the entire procedure. Dr. Lu took the time to carefully explain in detail the entire procedure before he began and made certain that any concerns or questions I had were explained and answered. He even called me the next day after the procedure to make sure I was doing ok. It was the best medical experience I've ever had.
