After all who would care about a lost key to a hearse that they had to retire. They actually searched for it. I ended up getting that hearse and you can tell that it was well cared for. I would strongly discourage anyone from using Boston Cremation…read more Our family has had an incredibly frustrating and distressing experience working with them during one of the most difficult times of our lives. They issued a death certificate listing a cremation date that does not match the actual date of cremation. When we contacted them to have the error corrected, instead of taking responsibility, we were given the runaround. Most recently, we were told that the date on the death certificate represents the date they "started the paperwork" for the cremation rather than the date the cremation actually occurred. We do not believe this explanation is accurate or consistent with Massachusetts requirements, yet they continue to refuse to correct what we believe is an error on an official legal document. As a result, our family has been forced to continue pursuing the matter instead of being able to focus on grieving. Unfortunately, this has not been an isolated issue. Throughout the process, communication was poor, empathy was lacking, and we repeatedly had to advocate for ourselves to receive basic information and proper treatment. The entire experience has caused unnecessary stress and has ultimately required us to seek legal assistance. Families deserve professionalism, compassion, and confidence that important legal documents are being completed accurately. That was not our experience. I sincerely hope no other family has to endure what ours has.
