What should have been a simple procedure was unnecessarily turned into a major surgery requiring a colostomy bag and if she had survived, a second surgery to repair the colon and remove the bag. This wasn't an emergency surgery. It was a planned procedure that should not have resulted in a bag. Since my moms death, there have been countless similar stories of unnecessary surgeries, loss of life and compromised quality of life. Dr. Siaz was short with me and made me feel more uncomfortable. At the desk they leave you with no paperwork for the visit the gal at the front desk is rude and short with you. I had 2 prescriptions prescribed that my insurance didn't cover and I called them 3 times to let them know that my insurance didn't cover them and they kept sending the same script over to the pharmacy and told me to pay for it out of pocket. which is not something I can do right now. I had to go back to my primary care to get a different referral to see a doctor in Kingman. When my primary care requested the notes from my visit they were denied and told they were incomplete. If you have an option to seek medical care from a different doctor I would recommend you do so. I have cancelled my upcoming appointment and wont be back.

You need at least morphine, demerol, fentanyl, stool softener/laxative, baby aspirin, benadryl. Forget the oxycodone. Useless for real pain. If you can not get a real narcotic before surgery, do not have it done. Do not be afraid to get a real nurse practitioner to prescribe the right narcotics for you. Bribery if needed.
