I wanted my front windows repainted because they were peeling from sun and water exposure. Rafael responded promptly with a fair estimate for just the work I needed done. When I first found them I had solicited 8-9 bids, but RMS was were very competitive, and they were also licensed and insured, which is a must-have requirement for working on any of our two story properties. RMS Painting has also repaired significant exterior dry-rot on a couple of our jobs in difficult to reach places. Rafael is a true professional. He came out right way to look at my project and gave a reasonable quote. He worked with me on making sure he could get it done before the rain got bad. He had to remove all the caulking on a wall of 16ft windows and re-caulk it and paint the trim it as well as paint two very weather worn doors. Never again. Raphael came to my home on Friday 5/17 and I walked him through the painting project. He said yes we can do this I'll email you a quote on Monday. Which was yesterday 5/20. I never received an email, phone call or text. What a flake. If you're that unreliable and you can't even keep your word about a quote, then lots of luck getting a job done. Raphael and his team got our house ready to be sold. He painted both the outside and inside. On the outside, he helped choose the shades of colors based on my choices (sage exterior, white trim, red door) and it looks sophisticated and beautiful. Rafael and his crew did an amazing job repainting our old stucco house. They replaced rotting wood (at no additional charge from the original quote), primed our house and used two coats of paint! I was not expecting that. The total job ran under $7,000, and they worked for five full days. Rafael takes great pride in his work, and it really shows. Everyone on the crew was friendly and professional. When he pointed out our arbor was rotting, he brought in his brother who does his wood work, and (for an additional cost as it was a separate job) they rebuilt our rotting deck and top slats on our arbor.
