Started by spending 10+ minutes on the phone (my choice) to talk to someone to figure out the process and steps needed to be taken. Got what I needed to be done real quick online and then made my way here to finish the process. 10:30am Monday morning I figured it would busy and I was correct. Stood behind someone line who had bad body odor, so please do yourself a solid and clean up before you come. Line was all the way to the door, maybe took 25 minutes to get to the counter and another 3 minutes to cancel the plates. Overall I was pleased with the service and my experience. The security guard and lady directing people where to go could have been more pleasant when I walked out after thanking them and wishing them a good day.

He asked if I had my license, of course. Then gave me a ticket for standing in line. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. I love this registry for the speed and the fact that most of the people here are fabulous. I also found out a few weeks ago that I had been over paying for this trailer because it was listed at the incorrect weight. I thought I'd have to go through all kinds of hoops to get it fixed. Hold for two hours. Told to go to the location. Once there I was told I missed a form and that they tried to call me the same day as drop off (checked call log and had no missed calls from them, also they had my email on my file but didn't inform me at all of a missing form). Brought back the needed form. Waited another two days and finally got a confirmation, only to be told on arrival that I need to bring in ANOTHER FORM (which the email I received does not mention). A WASTE OF TIME. I understand infrastructure is struggling with the pandemic but we're a year in. While the RMV seemed outdated before, this is just a disgrace.

I moved from Florida and I needed to get all my ducks in a row, that included going to the dreadful DMV. I booked an appointment online which was fairly easy. On the day of the appointment, we parked and we were looking for the entrance and a kind security guard helped us and said we can go through the side door because we had a baby carriage with us. (Front entrance had stairs and not handicap accessible). We walked to the elevator to the second floor and showed the employee at the door our appointment confirmation number. We checked in, got a number ticket, and sat down. On a weekday morning, it wasn't too busy and only waited about 15 minutes before my number was called. I needed to get a driver's license and my vehicle registered. I forgot a document at home and they gave me a hall pass to go back in a couple of hours. Pro-tip: make sure you have all your documents, and then some. In the end, I've waited at the DMV in RI and FL; this experience in CT was a little better in comparison.

I noticed a handful of folks arriving just before closing (3:50 pm or so) and they were in and out in no time. Might be worth giving it a shot.
