Walked in after a long day of travel, at approximately 8:53 on 10/17/25, to order from Subway at this Road Ranger stop. Two guys were standing behind the counter with the entire counter cleaned up. One guy said, "Bro. We're all closed up and we aren't making any more food." So I have some concerns around this. Why post closing hours for 9:00 when at 8:53 you have decided to be closed? Also, why would everything be cleaned up at 8:53? I can't imagine when those two guys began cleaning...I will be posting this review to Google also, as it is important for travelers to understand that this pit stop to get food is not a reliable option and the workers apparently get to dictate when they will be closed for the day, even before their shift is over. read more

This was one peculiar place. I felt like I was in a mountain town in NorCal. But hey, the gas pumps worked on the first try; and the lot space is large enough that I didn't have to be concerned with being hit or backed into. This is one of the two RR locations which sell the I-PASS transponders. The employees were friendly. read more

I went in to get a phone cable for my iPhone because I brought the wrong one from home. The first time I went in I got the wrong one but she had told me I could exchange it as long as I kept the receipt and all the packaging. So I walked from my hotel back up to the Road Ranger (and took my iPhone). When I thought I had the right cord I asked her if she could open the cable and try it. Sure enough, got it! 5 stars simply because the bathroom was extremely clean. Most of these low rating reviews are over 5 years old, and dont address much. Easily located bathroom and clean. Bathroom was cleaned the morning I used it, I read that on the chart. read more

Wow like the other customer said - very rude and not the first time either for me. This time I went in and had a $20 bill, and a single w some change. Didn't want to break my $20 so I selected a drink that was $1.19. Went to register and she said $1.69. I showed her where I got the cup, and rudely she went to the section and said the wrong cups were in the slot and started fixing all of them. I had started drinking already, and she said that it's still $1.69 even though it showed $1.19 when I got it. I told her the right thing to do is charge me for the smaller cup and that I didn't want to break the $20. Still no. Then she says she saw that I had another $1 in my hand! Couldn't believe it she was calling me a liar! So I asked her if she wanted to just take the drink and dump it or charge me for the smaller one. She took it out of my hands and dumped it!! I was shocked! Still am. I'll be reaching out to the manager and DM on this one - they lost an easy sale here just had to charge me for what was posted. Don't waste your $$ here always rude and not willing to please the customer. Manager or DM please leave your number and I will call you. I plan on stopping into the corp office next week too. I thought the place was kept up with cleanliness wise. However I thought that the staff there was very rude. When I tried to helpfully clear the walk for them, the woman came outside and rather than explain politely that I was not allowed to do that, she barked loudly with a sharp "NO". I was not impressed with her interpersonal skills. I believe that people working in customer service should have great interpersonal skills. Also the walk was not shoveled at all. In fact, I saw with my own eyes, a man almost fall to his death when he slipped on the extreme slush and snow. read more
