We stayed 1 night here. The public bathrooms were very clean and they had a cafe, laundry rooms & a dog park! We had no issues at all during our stay here & LOVED the views (not anything special, but none the less very pretty). The dog park was a HUGE perk of our stay here. Staff was friendly. read more

Ding dong, the grumpy witch is gone! Singing to the Wizard of Oz tune here! This park has always been an overnight stop for us on our annual migrations. It's had a rather forlorn look to it, but the price couldn't be beat, and we'd never had any problems. This year we were surprised with an escort to our site before we even set foot outside, and we can see how much they've cleaned it up already. The buildings are freshly painted, potholes have been filled in with fresh stones, and hookup areas have been raised up so the sewer hoses drain better. There is a plethora of cigarette butts in our site, but they don't bite anything or anyone. LOL We are very grateful for this level site and nice break from the road! Thank you new owners! We look forward to seeing the other improvements spoken of on check-in. We are still amazed. Thanks also to the pleasant young couple who greeted us. read more

This place is a complete and TOTAL DUMP!! Yes, we also used our Passport America discount, but have used it in other parks as well. So I have some frame of reference that I shouldn't expect these parks to be resorts. But this was off-the-charts horrible! Rotting trailers, rotting wiring, a hole in the ground for sewer. Topped off with feral cats everywhere and some chained up pit bulls. Do NOT stay here! read more

We stayed here 3 1/2 years ago and the place was like a junk yard or a dump. Pulled in this afternoon and was surprised to see it has been cleaned up the junk RVs and cars are gone. No dogs or kids running wild and no people sitting outside staring at those coming in. I cannot say how bathrooms or laundry are as I don't use them. But I can tell you the dumpsters have been emptied recently and aren't stinky, however there still small pieces of broken glass around them. All in all if you just need a place for a night or two I'd recommend it. read more

Some reviewers don't give this place a lot of love. I had a different experience. I pulled up with my teardrop looking for a place to spend one night. (I think most of the folks are long-stay residents.) The proprietor, Ronnie, was kind and helpful. He hunted up a 30-amp adapter for me to use and gave me a nice level site. The bathroom was clean and well-furnished, hookups worked fine, folks were quiet, I felt safe--what more can you ask for? If you're looking for a place to spend a night or two, give it a try. read more

Oh my! I'm guess one night was not bad. There are all the hookups for an RV and wifi. Not bad for $24, but with our discount card it was $14. The park is not much to speak of nor are the grounds. The restrooms we horrible. No TP. Very few paper towels. The trash cans are paper sacks that are overflowing. Just plain dirty. No I didn't use it. The showers, no way. Moldy floors, no curtains and smelt. The RV park would have been ok if I hadn't gone to check out the restrooms. We got in late, I'm sure the lady was tired, she was very quiet and somewhat curt with us. Well it was an 8:45 PM check in. If you really need a camping place with hookups for any reason, spend a little extra especially if you plan on more than one night. read more

Everything is quite ok here. But it has its problems. Like this morning at 6 am a one nighter was disconnecting his water and broke the whole thing!! So now I have a 5ft water fountain and no water going through my trailer way so ever. Called the office numerous times and no answer!! It's office hours and no way to get this fixed. read more

I don't know what all this whining is about. No, this is NOT Club Med. There is no pool. There is no club house or exercise room and all the other amenities that you could expect to pay $60-$100++ per night for. BUT, what there is is a easy going, well managed, laid back, well run park with no problems and no drama. Since it is not crowded you may have 2 to 10 sites between your rig and the next on on their GIANT sites. So if you like being squeezed so tight against your neighbor that your slides touch - this is NOT the park for you. Electric, water and sewer are perfect. Sites are level and most seem to have a shaded, high quality resin/plastic picnic table. There is a playground to the kids. No potholes. The price is VERY reasonable and you can sleep well at night. This is not a dump! It is a very nice park. Maybe not a not of grass, but can you imagine having a perfect lawn in the 30-40+ acre park in the desert? read more

Stayed here under Passport America. Not bad for the price. Sites are fairly level. This is a no frills park. Guy at the office that checked us in was not very personable. We would stay here again if coming through this area. read more

We stayed here Sept 18, 2017 when the new owners had just taken over the park. We were graciously welcomed for our stay. There were a lot of improvements to be made in the future. We encountered a problem when our RV struck a low-hanging wire in the park resulting in our horn and spotlight being ripped off of our roof. The new owners took responsibility and we were compensated for our losses. We believe we will see attention given to this older park's lack of TLC by the previous owner. Definitely looking forward to returning the next time we pass through Fort Stockton. read more

No one around to check you in, "just find a place to park". No one will answer calls during weekend and difficult to find anyone during week days. Unless you speak Spanish you won't be able to get wifi password from current residents. Management is in need of vast improvements if they expect repeat customers. read more

A complete dump and no water! We didn't know about the water until another camper told us. No explanation given by office staff. Feral cats and gigantic potholes. The sewer hook up was a hole you place your connection in to. Wanted to get a photo but didn't have my phone. Nasty! You're better off at the Walmart Supercenter close by. (We went there to get some bottled water) Office staff is not very welcoming or informative. read more

Before staying here you definitely need to do your research or ask locals that are around this park. The billing cycle you are always overcharged or charged double make sure you DO NOT LEAVE CREDIT CARD ON FILE!!!! The sewage system is horrible it's always backing up into the drains sinks etc! If any repairs that are needed you might as well do them yourself they will be done unprofessional and unlicensed my opinion not safe at all especially if you have children or pets. The parking lot has pot holes that are ridiculous!!! So honestly before staying here or moving into a home please do your research! read more

We stayed here under Passport America. Not bad for the price of $15 per night with cable but called the front office regarding Wi Fi that I was not able to connect to during my stay. The man that answered the phone said he didn't know why I could not connect because it was working!!! I am able at all the parks that we have stayed in to connect so ... Not very personable at all. Also, got a little lost in trying to find the place and the women that answered the phone was very annoyed. My father referred me to this park that he has stayed before and he stated that the owner was a nice man!!! I am pretty sure that it was the owner that wasn't willing to help me with my wi fi connection problems!! Our spot was 51. The cable worked great. read more

As the previous review states, this is a very basic park, but the Passport America price was basic also so we decided to give it a shot. We paid $2 extra for cable and $2 extra for a/c. The listing said free internet. The manager was curt and basically quite rude, but there were pamphlets about things to see and do in the area. The cable did not work, but we managed to pick up 5 stations (2 English and 3 Spanish) stations with our antenna. Internet service was less than basic and kept cutting off except at 4 a.m. The spots are level and pull thru, but again basic with no trees. There was a old covered picnic able at the site which could have been used. The park is noisy and someone was shooting off fireworks in the middle of the night. All in all, I would not stay here again, but if you are interested in price only I suppose it's a deal. read more

This is a very basic park. It is also a very old park. That being said its price for Passport America can not be beat. The manager is very helpful and will assist you should you need help. There is free WiFi and at our spot #16 it worked great. The spots are level and are all pull thru. If you need cable and are Passport America you have to pay an additional $2.00 but for a total $12.00 it is worth it. The price for non-passport america is $20.00 and that includes cable. read more

My husband and I stayed here 2 years ago with Passport America. Was a nice overnight stop for the price. We decided to stop by there again last night...what a mistake!!! There were so many potholes you couldn't even try to dodge them all. There are so may construction workers and oil workers there now, and I know this is what the owners count on to make money, but they were in and out of the park at all hours of the night, driving with windows open, blasting their music, yelling, etc. Will definately not be coming back here, and if you want a good night sleep, I advise you do the same. You'd be better of staying at a truck stop. read more
