We came in 1/2. Before close and they were very welcoming, ordered an antipasto salad to share and she brought it out on two plates!! Everything on it was soo fresh, this was our 2nd time we ate here in the last two weeks and the first time was just as awesome!! Stopped in with my wife after we set up camp about 18 miles away. Not a lot to choose from. This was a recommendation from the camp grounds. We were there later in the evening on Thursday. Not sure how much longer they were going to be open. The place was probably about 1/4 full. My wife and I asked for ice tea. It appeared that they had to make it, which I guess is better than saying their route. I will say that my steak salad was delicious and the wings my wife ordered were huge! Service was wonderful! Waitress friendly and helpful. Salad was fresh, delicious, and a great size for a side salad. I wanted a burger patty for my dogs (I was on a long road trip) and the owner wanted $8. I only wanted a kid size patty. He then told the waitress he could give me 2 Salisbury steak patties for $3. I said yes please! When the bacon, cheddar burger came out it was a perfect medium temp, large, handmade, fresh lettuce and good tasting pickles. The Salisbury steak was over seasoned, mushy, and gross. I apologized and said I would still pay for it, but one bite was too bad to swallow and I knew it would make my dogs sick. The crazy thing is the last time I went there everything was 200 or 100 dollars for something that I could get at mcdonalds for cheaper, but I mean better service, but that dont change the fact that the price ruined it all. read more

Waitress was not friendly. And the place was not busy. My wife ordered the Salisbury steak and they were out. She then ordered the chicken fried steak that was heavy on the gravy but light on the meat. Salads were ok. I ordered the filet medallions. They were not as tender as most filets I've had in the past. Kinda light on the sautéd onions and mushrooms. Small baked potato. We asked for bacon bits for our salads and they charged us an extra $2 without telling us beforehand. read more

Absolutely terrible all the way around. I77 Travelers just keep going! For the record, this is absolutely in no way a result of being short handed as I counted 8 different waitresses hanging out. This did not count the bartender, hostess or the guys in the back. We waited 15 mins for someone to take our drink order, even after the floor manager came and explained that our waitress was busy cleaning up a mess. She didn't offer to take our drink order or anything, just walked 5 steps over and kept people watching. The waitress finally shows up to take our drink order and brings back the wrong drinks and disappears for awhile and comes back with the wrong drinks, we let it slide as this was before I started counting and assumed they were short handed. She then took our dinner order. A steak salad with ranch dressing. She asked how my wife would like her steak cooked and she said medium. I order a half rack of ribs, "baked" mac and cheese, and waffle fries. The ribs came out a full five minutes before the steak salad. I waited for my wife's to show up. The waitress actually came and asked if anything was wrong while I waited for hers. I said, no... just waiting for my hers to show up. She said oh, I'll go get that. She came right out with it. The steak did look medium, but was clearly straight from the fridge because it was ice cold and I'm pretty sure it's the same stuff one can buy from Walmart for precooked the fajita meat. The ribs were precooked and tossed on the flat top as the meat side was burnt flat and tough as jerky, while the bone side was cold. The "baked" mac and cheese was anything but baked and came with two full slices of precooked bacon on top and unmelted shredded cheese under it. The waffle fries were soggy and warm, probably from a heat lamp. It wasn't even worth complaining, as I didn't have faith they could remedy the issues. I asked for the check with full plates and not once did the Waitress or floor manager, who watched us the entire time, ask if anything was wrong or ok. read more

Food, Service, and Atmosphere are all GREAT!!! Food comes out hot. The bread is delicious. The chicken fried steak is out of this world! We had such a great experience, and we highly recommend going. Green beans were also amazing with lots of bacon. Even the salad was good and super fresh. The staff is so nice, and quick to serve. Whatever you do, do not go here. Two hours of chaos. Waitress kept forgetting to bring things including bread and refills on drinks, so other servers had to bring them out. Then we get our food about an hour after ordering and let me tell you bland is an understatement. Steak tasted like it was microwaved with no seasoning. Mashed potatoes were instant. Then to top it all off there was tinfoil on a sandwich we ordered. They explained it was because meat is stored in tinfoil and tried to make excuses for the kitchen. Did absolutely nothing for us and we still paid for it. After all that we could leave right? Wrong the check then took another twenty minutes because our server couldn't work the system and we had to flag down yet another server just to pay and leave. The fact that this place has any good ratings is absurd. Even if the service was decent food is just terrible and not worth the wait or the money. If you want to enjoy similar quinine as this place, just run over a raccoon and eat it fresh off the pavement. It would save you some money and have more flavor. read more

Was welcomed with open arms even coming through the door close to closing. From the hostess to the waitress we had great service. Food was great and the menu has something for everyone. I decided to try this place on my way back to parkersburg, and I'm glad I did. I tried michales ribeye with baled potato which I found really good. My waitress was very nice, and I enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. This was my visit, and if I'm in the area again I will come back. read more

Is 2.5 an option? The food was good but go when it is dead. I would not recommend if the parking lot is full.
