I never had a problem with my teachers and staff always look out for me and when I need help they were always there. The office staffing were pretty much up-to-date and helpful. I used to go here and I really appreciate everything everyone has done for me. Miller Motte was My favorite college and also family.

More Cons then Pros;…read more Cons; WORST comunication and professionalism I have EVER come across!!! I attended the Miller-Motte CDL program in Fayetteville, Nc. July 5th 2016 threw July 28th 2016. Here are some MAJOR issues and concerns I dealt with; It started with my first phone call to the 800 number. The girl I spoke with could not tell me any info on the CDL program but my main concern at that time was if they except the G.I. Bill or not. She could not tell me. She physically wanted me to drive to the campus to meet with the CDL adviser Fred Widner to find out if they even except the G.I. Bill. Hopefully this saves you a trip... They DO except it. Next; DO NOT PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR THE D.O.T. PHYSICAL!!! When you meet with Fred Widner he will pump you full of info but will most likely forget to tell you not to pay for your physical like he did for me and many other students. A week before I started school I called and emailed Fred Widner to try to find out what I needed to do for my DOT physical. I reseved no response from him or anyone at the main campus. So after serval failed contact attemps I again had to physically go to the campus where I thought I could receive the correct information from Fred. When I arrived at the MMC capus Fred was not there. I then explained the situation to the lady who helps with enrollment and she told me that if I paid for the DOT physical I would get reimbursed. THIS WAS NOT THE CORRECTED INFORMATION! A week into the program I found out I was NOT supposed to pay for the physical and i was supposed to wait for an email with billing information that you would give to the medical examiner's office to bill the school. I end up reseving this email a week and 3 days after I had already started class witch is obviously to late. Fred Widner said he would help me get my refund back but when ever I checked on the status of my refund I could not get in contact with Fred via several emails, phone calls and voice mails. Its as if he was avoiding me. Fred's lack of comunication and professionalism is what put me and many other students into this situation in the first place. He could not take 2 minutes out of his day to email or call me back to let me know the status of my situation. So now im out $110 because Fred Widner could not be professional enough to contact me back but when I physically went to his office he had time to be on Facebook. When i brought it to his attention threw an email this is what Fred Widner replied; "Dominic I was out of the net for a few days and working on Ft. Bragg as well as conducting my daily interviews in and out of the office. There are no communications issues on this side as I let you know that once I found out what the delay was I would contact you." If Fred was out of the office for a few days then a courtesy automated email should have been established along with a courtesy automated voicemail informing students of his absence. As long as Fred thinks "There are no communications issues on this side" This problem will never get resolved. Fred Widner is really giving the Miller-Motte CDL program a bad reputation. PROs; The two BEST driving instructors Arture Flores and Michael McDougall (aka. Mac.) These two instructors are outstanding, professional and respectful. They really care about there students, trucks and fellow instructors. they get a 5 star rating I hope this helped future CDL students. Sincerely, Dom Castro

You get rid of most of the good technical programs that paid students living wage and ended technical education programs to compete for all the college transfer programs - just dipping in their hands for the money.

Look them up online and see all of the amazing things that they offer. I transferred to WTCC from a 4YR college in hopes of saving money. The school has some GREAT programs that will allow you to work full time and be a student too. I gave the customer service aspect of the school a 3. It really all depends on who you are working with and how their day has been going. I have worked with guidance counselors that are 'lost'... I mean they won't guide you in any kind of way then I've worked with some that are phenomenal. They will give you so much amazing advice. The staff overall is nice. The school is always sparkle clean! There is lots of parking spaces at the North Campus. and there is even parking decks as well. If your looking to save some money, give WTCC a try.

I am a Veteran and wasted my time and benefits on the Cyber Warrior Program. They will lie to you…read morethe entire time about how great their program and school is, how the certs will help you start a career in IT and how Career Services will be in constant contact until you land a job. The classes are taught by PowerPoint and the Labs rarely work enough to complete. I used other means to study for my exams. Career services and everyone else that spoke with us via Zoom always talked about the careers, preaching great jobs, placement and starting salary, only to offer you $15/hr call center jobs saying " it's better than fast food or other jobs paying more because those aren't careers". Then comes program completion and the many emails, calls and texts to your career advisor that go unanswered. The bulk BCC emails with positions that you do not qualify for because you lack a degree in an IT related field. Do not trust the good reviews on this company, as they are submitted by employees. Which, by the way, My Computer Career won't even hire me because I do not have the experience or degree that is required for an entry level position. Everyone stay away from this place, not just Veterans. Go to a real college, self study, get a degree and your certs without giving more money to these people!

I would not be writing this review had it not been for the claims I've heard on their commercials…read more I've been in IT for about 6-years. I can tell you, you need to get your foot in the door by having some basics such as Associate Degree or higher with cert(s) unless you get a higher degree and are a shoe for a job that highly matches the degree you earned. Having some work experience in a related or matching field is also very helpful. Also, if you have a connection in the inside who gets you in that is sometimes the key. Myself, I've earned two Associate Degrees and take extra courses at a half-dozen colleges private and public and have nearly a dozen certs from CompTIA, Cisco, and others. The programs they offer here will do nothing for you but take your money and/or benefits you are using with them. You want to learn and earn some certs, try Udemy or CBT Nuggets to learn and pass a half-dozen certs and get your foot in the door. Understand, this institution alone will do NOTHING for you.
