Responsive service. Be sure ask a lot of questions. The technicians may not be proficient in all the ins and outs of what they are installing. We had our locks changed at our HOA pool. Normally have been very reliable. Today I needed service So they rekeyed all locks for three hundred dollars last week. I was told to call another locksmith because they were too busy when I called today after 3 more times. I have pots and pans in front of my house doors to secure my home. I am a previous customer, and even if I needed new service. No one can call me back because the manager is in an all day meeting. They are too busy to come out today and tomorrow, but are supposed to have 24 hour service. I am very disappointed at this time. I will let you know if I change my mind. Louise read more

I purchased multiple locks and had 8 locks keyed to the same key. It cost me almost 200$ and took 3 visits and about 6 hours. Work was done extremely poorly. All the locks are so stiff they barely turn. Two of the locks don't work at all. I go out of my way to shop local. But after this experience I will only use Roadrunner when I absolutely have to for security keys. read more

I came here to have my house & postal keys made. It is a big store that carries large sophisticated-looking safe. The staff are nice, professional, & very courteous! I was attended by a very nice guy named Scott who asked if I need to know the price before cutting my keys! Not customer friendly! I bought a Liberty gun safe. They wouldn't honor manufacturers free curbside delivery. They charged $190 for six miles. And, I Had to wait two weeks and to top it off I had to pay in full up front. Shame on them. read more

We had Medico deadbolts that, after outdoor exposure, became very difficult or impossible to turn. Took them into Roadrunner and the tech tried lubing them to no avail. He then took them apart and removed parts that ended up ruining the top level security features of the locks (according to the locksmith who finally repaired the locks). He got them to turn, but it was a very temporary situation. I called Roadrunner, ended up with a different person and was told that they could replace the cylinder in each lock for around $50 each. I took the locks into the shop and asked for the tech I had talked to on the phone. He wasn't available. A rather brusque fellow asked what I wanted and I explained the entire matter to him. He said the cylinders could not be replaced. When I stated that another employee had told me otherwise, he walked over to another man who was behind the counter, then came back to me and said it couldn't be done. When I questioned this, he said: "that's the owner, it can't be done - YOU HAVE TO BUY NEW LOCKS." Since that would cost over $300 per lock, I returned home and telephoned a locksmith in Phoenix who told me to ship the locks to them for cylinder replacement - which is a common repair. The Phoenix folks did a great job and our Medico locks are like new. read more
