There's a huge selection of organic fruits and vegetables, and the overall vibe of the store is genuinely pleasant. everyone seems kind and helpful. First time walking into a Sprouts Farmers Market and I've got to say, I was impressed. I'm a guy in my 60s and I've been in a lot of grocery stores over the years, but this place felt a little different right away. The produce section alone is worth the trip. Huge selection, everything looked fresh, and it actually felt like a real market instead of just rows of the same old stuff. I spent more time over there than I expected. The associates were another pleasant surprise. Every person I talked to was friendly and genuinely helpful. You don't always see that anymore, so it stood out. What really caught me off guard was the bulk section. I've never seen anything like it in a regular grocery store. Nuts, grains, snacks, all kinds of things you can scoop yourself. Pretty neat idea. And the vitamin section? Honestly the biggest vitamin and supplement selection I've seen anywhere outside of an actual vitamin store. All in all, a really solid first experience. Went into Sprouts this evening for the first time in a while and realized it hasn't changed a bit. I feel like they've beefed up the security even more (they were wearing a bullet proof vest). I made sure I gave them a smile when I saw them watching me in the corner of the store - maybe I should have waved. I recently went to a Sprouts in another part of town and had a completely different experience there. I will only come here if I am absolutely desperate for supplies and you should too. Value is as important as selection. Prices are insanely high. I went for a few items at the suggestion of a friend. The place has a Trader Joes vibe, and a huge footprint with far greater selection than a Trader Joes. I went to the fish counter. The fresh selections were very weak. Not so bad if you want frozen, but both were priced for profits. My next selection was an odd one, mayonnaise not made with soybean oil. Here again, there was great variety if at astronomical - by comparison- pricing. I got the feeling of magic fingers tugging at my wallet on every aisle. It wasn't a good feeling. Worse the restrooms are keycode locked, and stunningly, they were a TOTAL PIT. One day I'll win the lottery and shop here. Not until then. read more

Something has happened to Sprouts. It started during the pandemic, when there were transportation issues. Prices went up, produce quality went down, and they simply never recovered, even two years later. Right now you can get better quality produce for the price at Safeway, and Lee-Lee's Oriental Market of all places has really stepped up their produce quality, leaving Sprouts in the dust. In-house brands of potato chips, pretzels and other items have shown a marked drop in quality as well. We've seen Sprouts progress over the last couple years from the affordable farmers market inspired healthy food store that was owned and run by employees to now having the face of a corporate-run chain trying to compete with Whole Foods and Trader Joe for faceless banality. It's sad, but we really don't shop there anymore now. read more

The other thing is the staff, the staff were very friendly and helpful and they were all wearing masks. They also had some plastic separation protection for their cashiers They're not totally organic but they have quite a bit of organic stuff. They were working on making sure everything looked well stocked and orderly. The vegetables seem to be plentiful and for a typical family grocery store that seemed like they had a fair selection of organic items. They also had grass-fed beef and bacon that was uncured. They also have some individually prepped items which are good for a senior that may want to not have to prepare everything. They even have some Frozen organic items which were particularly of interest to me. They also had an extensive selection of vitamins and other individual health care items. Their baked goods are pretty good too they have half loaves of bread which I think you're really nice. I've been when it's been crowded and not crowded and the line through the checkout area has always been fast. It's a complete grocery store with about everything that you could want. read more

I love Sprouts! It is easily the nicest health food market in the area considering how large it is and how vast the selections are. I noticed they have fresh sushi which looks amazing, I'm sure I will try it next time! They have an extensive wine rack if that's your style. The body and wellness section offers brands that are often hard to find. As far as kombucha, which brought me there in the first place, they have the brands and flavors I love most. Excellent variety. The Sprouts brand offers low prices for name brand equivalents. Many items were on sale. This store is ridiculously over priced. Yeah, they have lots of produce but what I got there for $35, if I travel in the opposite direction and hit the Fry's the cost drops to less then $25. The staff is beyond rude, several of which really shouldn't work with the public due to a complete lack of people skills. And the rest are self-important SJWs with major attitude. Eat your veggies. They're good for you. But first, you have to buy them, and without fail, there is no better place to buy fresh produce, day-in and day-out, seven days a week, then Sprouts. Yes, there are local farmers markets where you can meet the actual farmer. This is great. You should do this on the one day a week that the market is open. But for the other six days, visit Sprouts. It's a seven days a week farmers market. It absolutely has its weak points. By comparison to major supermarket chains, there is a very limited selection of canned goods or popular prepared or snack foods, virtually nothing frozen except maybe some ice cream, and you absolutely cannot buy swimming pool shock treatment, the way you can at Safeway or Albertson's. But wait! What am I saying? This isn't a weak point -- it's a strength. Sprouts is about real food, and only about real food. We like the produce quality and the prices. That bears repeating. I'm always amazed at how little it costs to shop here. It isn't a version of "whole paycheck", to quote the nickname of a popular organic food store. Prices are another way that Sprouts mimics an actual farmers market. We like the deli section (Boar's Head deli meats sold here). We absolutely love the quality and taste of the ground beef (usually ground chuck, and also available as grass fed). There is a large selection of bulk bins -- nuts, snacks, gummy bears. It's all food, and it's all good. Shop at Sprout's. It's real food. read more
