I don't recommend , this it's a scam company, they swear they will tow your vehicle and when they get to the site they have someone drive it. This happened to me there. They drive the commercial vehicle without them being in the insurance policy. 100% illegal. read more

Not a transparent business when it comes to total cost.... When I inquired on the phone about total cost the credit card fee and the administrative fee were not mentioned. Nor was I asked if I wanted to pay cash to avoid the fees. Tow truck driver was nice though. read more

This mechanic shop is out to take your money. My truck was towed to their workshop on Thursday, very early in the morning. After troubleshooting, they said one sensor had to be replaced, which they have to order and it will get to them the next day, Friday. I gave them the go-ahead to order the part so they can fix the problems on the truck. They put the part in on Friday and they said the problems are fixed, I had to pay $2175 for towing, labor, and part, only for the engine light to come back again after 2 hours down the road with one of the fault codes that they claimed had been fixed. By this time they had closed for the day. I called them the next day, I was told they don't open on weekends, on Monday I called again, I was told to bring the truck back so they could look at it again. We took the truck back to them, first, they said the person that worked on it on Friday was out, another mechanic from the shop who said he worked on the truck for another 4+ hours, now concluded that we have to take the truck to a Freightliner shop because they don't have the necessary equipment to fix the problem but I have to pay them another $550 for labor before we could take the truck out of their workshop. The first time, it took them almost 2 days, and then another 5 hours for them to realize that they don't have the capacity to fix the problem. This is nothing but a rip-off. I called the next day to talk to the manager but they are all the same, they have nothing good to offer. Please beware. read more

Our car broke down after driving through the desert of Nevada for a few hundred miles on the last day of July on the way to Salt Lake City. A totally unexpected event offered us an opportunity to meet many good people in Wells, NV. One of the rescuers came to us was Roadway Towing & Recovery. After the highway patrol officers informed us there is nothing in Wells, i.e., no taxi, no Uber, no Airbnb, we were prepared to camp out for the night. When the towing company showed up, the situation changed for the better. Craig, the owner of the company, called Motel 6 to get us a clean room right away after sorting out the situation. He dropped us off in his personal car to make sure that we are in a safe place. He also arranged for the driver, Julio to come early in the morning to tow us to our destination. We have had a great ride with Julio who told us many rescuing stories. This company has been in business over two decades. They have helped numerous stranded on the road like us. They are not just a towing company, they are good people who go out of their way to help others in their most vulnerable times. I can not put a price tag on this type of human kindness. There are not enough stars in the sky to express our gratitude! Thank you for doing what you do everyday to make the world a better place! read more

PLEASE beware of this company! I would Never ever use these people again..Had a road side repair completed with poor judgement call with a patch that didn't work then a tow. ONLY Coolant line replaced on the truck with a tow $2,721.21. My opinion these people are sharks!! Please NEVER use them! They charged for doing the job twice & for sipping coffee & kept the meter going while parts where overnighted. Most people stand by there work and charge once not twice! STAY AWAY! read more

The worst rip off artists I have ever dealt with...180.00 per hour to work on a motorhome and then charge me 3% to use a credit card. Please avoid this place at all costs. If you drive semi get a tow from someone in elko, there is plenty. Stranded before and still stranded after $8,021. Finally made it home. They Dropped the trailer so low to the ground I couldn't couple. The other airbag seems to have been torn when they towed my truck after I had an airbag replaced on the side of the road before the tow. Btw, my trailer breaks work fine I just had to couple like I had said. Yall could have really turned an already crappy experience into something really positive. I had one chance for yall to help me with the fork lift when I got back down there again to get my trailer out the gravel and no more after that. Yall tried to get a reaction from me by poking me with comments and making fun of me. When I came by to get my car to throw on the trailer I got heckled by the dude working there before he left for the day, just passive aggressive comments. It baffled me because it was like all the guys were on board, way to kick a guy while he's down. If you do end up here keep your cool, be thankful for whatever help you do get so you don't worry about them messing with your load or doing something in retaliation. It's all one big club and we ain't in it over there, folks.. Elko is 44 minutes, they have far more resources than wells. Semi truck drivers, pay the extra to just get to the next town over or get bullocks to tow which they will do. My car hauler was the exception for them otherwise it would be a done deal. read more
