When you plan a DIY-type wedding, even a small one like ours (only 15 people), so much thought goes into all the little details. But, on your wedding day you just want to make memories and live in the moment. You need a photographer you can trust to capture the big, unexpected moments....like when your groom drops you mid-dip during your first dance....and the small, thought-out ones. Lillian and Cooper also have great eyes for natural lighting, which was PERFECT for our outdoorsy wedding, and they indulged our request for a few astrophotography shots after the reception (in 30-degree weather). I loved working with them. They communicated well leading up to our wedding, and they were subtle and sweet while spending the day with my eccentric family members! We have only seen a handful of images, but we're SO stoked for the full set! (I only hope they are also masters of making ugly criers look beautiful....) Not very happy with the video either I thought I was paying for what would be an edited video of our ceremony and reception but it was just a video they used their phone to take. It also took over 3 months to get the pictures back from them and they still were not edited how I expected. Not sure if I'd recommend them for a wedding, but maybe engagement pictures and other small shoots would be okay.

We paid them to go to Yosemite for our engagement photos. However, our picture are nothing like the Yosemite pictures they posted on Instagram. 2. Expecting the clients to filter out bad images. Though they had a quick return time, they sent me 500+ pictures to choose 10 from, which also include the non-useable pictures also -- out of focus, harsh sunlight... 3. Not listening to our concerns. The useable pictures all have a old school vignette on them, which give a 2010 instagram editing vibe. I brought up my concerns about the vignette to Omar. Instead of listening to my concerns and offer a solution, he told me that I am "the first one ever complain about it". We did not feel comfortable moving forward with them on our special day. Hopefully these comments can help out the future brides/grooms.
