The customer bought two wrenches because she wasn't sure which size she needed to do an emergency repair on a trailer hitch, with the understanding that she could return the one the didn't fit. When she came back to return the unused wrench, this associate scolded her and stated "we don't 'rent' tool for you to use to fix your problems then return them to us for a refund. Luckily, another associate was there who was there when she originally purchased. She was very insulted and embarrassed at having her honesty questioned. I'm a former store manager. I would have been furious if one of my associates ever treated a customer in that manner.
