I needed some glass cut, the big box down the road wouldn't take it out of one sheet but wanted me to buy two. Aubuchon cut it out with out question the price per sheet was only a few cents more but with only buying one sheet it was almost half the price. The customer bought two wrenches because she wasn't sure which size she needed to do an emergency repair on a trailer hitch, with the understanding that she could return the one the didn't fit. When she came back to return the unused wrench, this associate scolded her and stated "we don't 'rent' tool for you to use to fix your problems then return them to us for a refund. Luckily, another associate was there who was there when she originally purchased. She was very insulted and embarrassed at having her honesty questioned. I'm a former store manager. I would have been furious if one of my associates ever treated a customer in that manner.
