The woman running the shop told me a little bit about the artist (Boothbay Harbor, I think he's from) and how she bought a cobalt glass pair of earrings from his collection the previous year, different design). They're gorgeous when the light hits them. Highly recommend stopping in to look at the array of human creativity on display!

My wife is an avid reader and loves checking out every and any bookstore. I appreciate locating them for her so she can do so! While not as much of an avid reader I do appreciate what appears to be a resurgence of physical books and indie book stores. They were selling little patches that said Boothbay Harbor Historical Society for some cause or other but ran out of shirts. They told me to buy a shirt and bring the patch to this place to have them sew it on. It started to sound complicated but they said that the people at the Harbor Embroidery were really nice. So I ended up going there and they were extremely nice. They said come back in a hour and the work would be done. Well We came back and all the patches and shirts were united.. I'm not sure I'll ever have the opportunity to use their services again, but it was a pleasure dealing with them.

They look Ash grey. I called the company after no email response and they are not at all friendly. I thought I would get a response to one of my two emails and they would back up the product but they don't respond. Not sure why they have a "contact us" button. I was pleasant and just wanted an answer. So, on the phone they said it will fade in the sun. They never mention that. Funny that now if you go on the website it now has a separate note that states "May Fade". Bottom line they did nothing to help, no apology or anything to make me happy. I just let it go. Now, update.....this weekend I was sitting on my friends older boat with beautiful black fenders and I asked if they were new. He said, no they are years old. He said he will let me know the brand so we can finally order good quality fenders. What a shame. Not sure how companies stay in business when they don't try to grow with customer feedback. As a business owner for over 20 years I always listen to my customers and actually thank them.
