I called his office also to tell his staff I needed a call back, I didn't want him to miss my text. I got deployed for the inauguration and hadn't heard from the office or him. My answer was due on the following Monday and I desperately called his office back. He finally called. I had interviewed 3 attorneys and although I did like the other attorneys, my intention was to hire this one because I liked his confidence. My perception of him changed on our final call. I guess he thought I didn't want to pay him, he kept alluding that I wanted him to do work and he wasn't retained. Although true, I never had an opportunity to retain him because his staff nor him ever called me. And I had a text to prove I asked him for a call back. He didn't want to acknowledge that his office dropped the ball. Or take responsibility. That was a turn off. I definitely see how some reviews perceive him as rude. He's just very direct. Definitely my fault for not going else where after the first week of not getting a call back. But since I never got the full 30 min paid consult and he asked that I call him back,I did that.
