Horrible! I had to switch real estate attorneys! A lady named ALLA was not competent at all! It was impossible to get a hold of her, I spoke to her assistants most of the time and every time I had a question about the contract, deed or title for the house.. they would say "Ask the bank, we don't know anything". THAT RIGHT AWAY SCARED ME! I would NOT want an attorney/paralegal that doesn't know anything! Isn't it your expertise!? Another thing is, they only cared about the money! They told me THREE times to make sure I have a check to pay them first before I can sign a contract! Most real estate attorneys charge at the closing date! My previous attorney did that. My current attorney now does that. There's much more but to sum it up... STAY AWAY! There are a million real estate attorneys out there! Pick someone else! read more

I closed a coop in 2015 with Aronov. Robert was very knowledgeable for someone who looks so young. I think he even caught an error on the day of the close. Initially I dealt with someone named Lenny who was NOT an attorney. When my coop board rejected the application of the buyer who was buying my coop, Aronov's team pocketed my deposit of $350 (aroudn that much). Then when the 2nd buyer was accepted, they wanted to charge me the full fee again (around $750). They claimed that it was a ton of work for them for the first buyer. That really pissed me off. The woman said she would speak to Aronov for me about the double dipping but i never heard back from her. That really soured an otherwise pleasant experience for me. read more

Do not use for probate!!! We were told that they had a very experienced attorney, Michael Goldsmith; not true does not know what he is doing! Everything that was asked was answered: not sure, don't know, we are waiting on the other attorney so we can't do anything (it was all a lie)! I finally got fed up and emailed the other attorney and she confirmed that what I knew to be a lie never happened so I forwarded it to Robert Aronov and asked for a return of the funds but keep getting nowhere. Low retaining fee! Despite the small hurdles, I must say, the service was good. Communication during the process was ok. This was my first property purchase so I cannot really say much in contrast. Realistically speaking, we all want perfection but the retaining fee paid was pretty comparable to the service provided. In the end everything turned out ok and on schedule. Dealing with the paralegal, Alla, was pretty informing. She walked me through the process and kept me informed and assured. I have to also mention that the front desk experience was exceptional through the hurdles. Pricilla at the front desk was calm and collected through the rough patches. Overall I have to say you get what you pay for and, l'm not upset with what I paid. read more

This lawyer is a joke. Spend your money on someone who will actually take the time to review your file, your case and get back to you when you have concerns. Try asking him a question after you pay and see if you will get a response. His paralegal is the only one who will respond, even when you need expert legal advise. I have read many positive reviews and decided to contact the lawyer. I have dealt with a paralegal, Alla Zaborsky, from the Richmond Hill office who was handling my contract. (Ultimately, I did not retain the attorney because of her unprofessionalism.) She failed to follow up with me (after numerous calls and provided timeframe) and the seller's attorney office at my request (saying she could not find his phone on google [she was provided his full name and company email]). I quickly found his phone number and website - as he had a company email with his full name. I overlooked her blatant dishonesty and decided to work with her anyway seeing it as an insignificant infraction. She really upset me when she failed to follow up despite her promise within a timeframe regarding a very pressing issue. After numerous calls and an empty promise, I confronted her about her unprofessionalism (if you promise to call a client within a timeframe, especially after a message that it is urgent, you need to hold your promise and preserve your credibility, otherwise do not make promises). She hung up the receiver after telling me 'Who are you to lecture me?! My mother?! I am not going to work with you!' The last time I checked, you are working for your client and your company...who equally expect diligence, courtesy and professionalism. Using 'I am busy' as an excuse, is immature and irresponsible because everyone is busy. You are provided staff and time; therefore, learn to delegate tasks and manage time better! I am a client who was ready to retain your services, did not pester you with minor issues, and simply needed your urgent advice with a goal of retaining your services immediately. Thank you for making my decision to take my business elsewhere very easy. read more

If you ever heard the name Alla in that firm RUN. She is HORRIBLE. Not only did she lost my down payment check she constantly told me lies after lies. She wasn't calling the sellers' attorney and whenever I called her she was always busy. She returned my calls 3 times during a period of 4 months and few of those calls I had to threaten to call her boss to the receptionist to get a returned call. My contract was cancelled due to her lack of care and inability to inform me correct information. I had to call and informed the receptionist to let her know that I emailed her so that she can respond to my email because god knows she doesn't return a call. My bank emailed and called her and she never once returned any of their calls or emails. She was very unprofessional and terrible at what she does. DONT GO THERE. read more

We've used RE lawyers before, this is the worst one. It's a very small attorney firm. The paralegal who accepted my case has left company months ago, but no one in this office notified us his leaving. Basically we had to watch all process closely for our home purchase process. This lawyer himself never showed up actually, we never met with him. Never get response from phone messages left, they had provided all kinds of reasons for not talking to us on the phone. Email is the only way to connect with them. Things are all horribly delayed in this office. They forgot to order title after we already had commitment from lender, so that we had to waited another two weeks for title coming. The lender's attorney complained the house survey not received from this office on time, which we've provided the survey to the paralegal a week ago. Nobody will notify you any progress if you don't follow up with them. We struggled to complete the home purchase in 96 days, although we got commitment letter from the lender in 30 days. All kinds of issues raised due to this office's ignorance and delay...RE lawyers are a dime a dozen - find a good one. read more
