Great for birthday or xmas shopping, you could easily have all your needs met in this one shop. There are easily accesable toilets and even a good, well priced cafe. I find it a bit of a chore to work my way around the store to find anything but at times I have found a good bargain. The store is generally clean and tidy, just has a lot in it. There is a large range of gifts, especially now in the run up to christmas but I would say they are a bit pricey. This is made easier by the fact that they seem to have a sale every other week.

I have twin granddaughters and when it comes to birthdays and Christmas the website allied to the click and collect service is a godsend. Still a lot to choice from on various items, household, camping, BBQ, garden, etc. Must admit do not like how they have tried to sort out the queing issue by puttin shelfing down the sides, it is just to cluttered & narrow, the other issue is each row is stocked with different items. Staff still friendly, which you got to give credit on busy days.

If you are inside the store and looking for the cafe, then you've missed it as it is located just outside the main entrance! Food is reasonably priced and the breakfast menu is good value for money. At Christmas their range of foodie gifts and novelties is vast, but a word of warning. BHS always reduce Christmassy stock well before Christmas Eve so resist buying early and you will bag yourself a bargain.

If I'm already shopping in Commercial Road I might pop in this branch, but as there is now a Poundland just a across the Road, I'd probably shop in there. They are still good value though, and this one seems to have quite a lot of bits for the kitchen in it. Stock doesn't seem to change very often (unlike Poundland) so I find it's not really worth going in unless I need something. This time of year they're always full of cheap Christmas decorations.
