From the initial inquiry we got to meet him and ask him all the questions. He is awesome. He will be right there to guide you and capture your day in the best way possible. What we appreciated is that he remembers for many of us this is our first time planning a wedding, you'd be surprised some of the other vendors forget and make you feel not so bright. He will answer your questions, give you his professional input, helps keep you on track but not making you feel like you're asking the same old questions, he has probably heard 1000 times but you never know. We were able to have meetings with him and it really helped us feel secure that we were in the right track. He gave us a list of locations to do our engagement photos, what to wear and how to pose and super patient with our dog. Photos were received in a timely manner. On the actual wedding date Ricky was on time, organized and encouraging. We met his second shooter and they brought in all the good vibes. We had complete trust he would be able to capture all the moments and we just needed to enjoy our day. Ricky and his team worked fantastic with our videographers. They worked as a team and communicated very well throughout the whole day. When we look at our photos all the feeling comes back. From the bride's point of view, getting ready with my mother and sisters, seeing my father's teary eyes during the father and daughter first look and seeing how nervous my now husband was, it feels so nostalgic. It all went by so fast but with these photos I can hold on to those moments and never forget. From the groom's point of view, feels excited and amazed how many moments were capture. He came and took photos of my bachelorette party; he took time out of his vacation with his family to come capture such an amazing trip. He had a great energy on our first meeting with him and totally flexible about our plans for engagement and wedding venues. We are totally jealous that he is so flexible to be able to travel for work and play, but he gets amazing photos nationwide. Unseasonably warm day in Dallas, he's on it. Triple digits in Phoenix after rescheduling due to the pandemic, he's on it. I'm sure an active hurricane or tornado would have been more unpleasant working conditions, but you wouldn't have known it from watching Jonathan work. I don't blame anyone who didn't want to deal with those conditions, but it was just another day at the office for him. He is likely a kinder and more generous person than he even is a world-class photographer, but we're here for the "pics or it didn't happen crowd". You're paying for a photographer but you basically get a best friend for the biggest day of your life for free. No headaches, super responsive, he gets photos back to you when he says he will and he worked nonstop on our wedding day.
