First off, these guys deserve a -5 five star. Horrible experience. NOTE: This was my experience with two individuals. I understand others may have had great experiences and that is fantastic. I just happen to get the short end of the stick this time around. One fine Tuesday morning, I am sitting at home and I receive a phone call from one Selene Mora of Office Team. She states that she has a couple of jobs I would be interested in, we talked and I was interested. She then sends me an email, and I send her my resume in an email. The next day, Wednesday, I receive a few calls from her setting up two interviews the following day, Thursday. The first is a phone interview in the morning and the second is an in person interview in the afternoon. In my phone interview, I was asked to tell of a time that I negotiated. I was puzzled as I have never done this. Then they asked me if I was still employed at my most recent job, and I said no. They said that on my resume that I still worked there. This is where I got a hint that my resume had been altered. So I go to my next interview and since it is in person, the interviewer usually has the resume in front of them. I glanced over at it and saw that it had been drastically altered. Later that evening I send an email to Selene asking to see the resume she sent to the two companies. I received it the next morning and I was livid. Without my permission, she added stuff that I never did on my resume and took a few things off. She lied to the employers about who I was. Even though she tried to make me look good, she did so by flat out lying and that is unethical. I confronted her and she tried to justify her actions. I told her she was lying and that she was wrong to do this. I then spoke to Juliana Bravo and explained the situation. She was understanding and stated that she will make sure that it will never happen again. I told her that I wanted my real resume sent to the employers and explain the problem. She said to send her my resume and I did. I have never heard back from them. Not even a check-up or status update on my interviews. Not even a call to tell me I didn't get the jobs. Nothing. This was about a month ago. Recruiters: do not lie. That is just wrong and dumb. Be honest and work with your candidates to make their resume better but don't lie. Job seekers: when dealing with a staffing agency, just to be safe, ask to see the resume they send out. And when you go into the interview, ask to see the resume they received to make sure you are being portrayed in the right light. Just avoid this location and people. Especially Selene. I hope she learns her lesson and grows but for the time being I would not deal with her. read more

Bad communication. Selene Mora sends me a generic email to send her my updated resume because its been a while since last communication- though she's never found me a job before. I send it right away and she never responds back. Been 3 days now and still no response. I don't want to work with recruiters or managers who can't even bother to respond back. I had a great experience & I am so happy I was apart of the Robert half team! They're Very professional & nice - Ruben Alvarez and Juliana Bravo were so helpful through the entire process. I was interviewed by Ruben - minutes later he called to let me know he had a job for me the next day! For every assignment, they gave me a small review on the company I was going to be working for. They also made sure the commute was within 5-10 miles away from where I lived as I requested. They also followed up w/ me after every assignment! I sent them my resume and the next day I received a call from Ruben who quickly set up an interview for that same day! When I started to search for work late 2013, I wasn't having any success. I literally signed up on a Tuesday night, Wednesday night Juliana called me, scheduled to bring me in, and I met with Justine on Thursday afternoon. Office team found me in March 2010 about a job I applied for online at the time. My first assignment was a week long at a corporate office who still currently asks for me when they need a temp to cover the reception area. I registered at the Santa Clara branch but somehow it's always this branch that seems to give me the most assignments. I have gone through a lot of staffing coordinators but they were all so helpful and knew who I was because of how many assignments they have put me on. In fact, I called Juliana yesterday and told her I was ready to work again next week and she called me back within an hour to tell me about an assignment for next week. I just had my interview today and got the assignment on the spot. I utilize office team to help me prepare for interviews and it actually does help! I'm also signed up for other staffing agencies but office team has been the only one that keeps in touch with me even if I don't call them weekly to see if I am available to work. It's hard to find a job these days and office team helps so much with finding jobs even if it's just a temp position because it helps build experience that can be put on the resume. Although I have not found a stable job at the moment, I actually get considered more when I do apply because of office team's help!! read more

Office Team in Fremont has a really fantastic and dedicated staff. The office staff, those who first assist you when you arrive there are really helpful- I have called them multiple times and asked questions and they always had an answer. I have worked with both Juliana and Ruben and both of them have awesome attitudes. They are both really effective too. I had two interviews lined up within a week of signing up. I was offered a position to start the following week and since it was a Friday, their HR staff expedited the preliminary screening paperwork so I could submit it before close of business day. Yes, recruiters take a huge cut but you have to remember that they are a business. Anyways, here's my story. As an overeducated, under-experienced Finance expert, I started with Accountemps in Fremont in November. It took them a while to find places that were a good "fit" for all of us. However, once they finally gave me a chance it was all uphill. I came into my near minimum wage job, put in more hours than excpected, made my bosses look good, and completed my assignment. What happened from there finally got my career going in the right direction. If you scratch Edris and Stacy's back, they will scratch yours. They referred me to another affiliate of RH who immediately had 3 job offers for me. I took the toughest one and now I'm making more than I ever expected as a graduate in a terrible economy....all started with $9 an hour. I was referred to Office Team by a very good friend, Chris, that actually works for the company. I emailed my resume to him and after reviewing it, he gave me a call and from a professionals point of view he gave me a few pointers, which I think was great that he did that. I've worked with another staffing agency before and they did not give me any pointers on my resume. Anyways, after a few adjustments on my resume, Chris then informed me that he will be sending my resume to one of the recruiters, Justine and she will be taking care of me. After Justine received my resume, she gave me a call and schedule me to come in and speak with her the next day. At first, I was nervous about the pre-interview with Justine but after meeting with her, she made the nervousness go away. Justine is a great recruiter and works fast. About 2 weeks after meeting with Justine she had a position lined up for me but I had to sadly decline it. The following week, Justine contacted me with another position that another recruiter was working with. So Justine linked me with Juliana. The same day, Juliana contacted me with the position and all the info for the job. She set up an interview with the company and I interviewed the next day. I let Juliana know that the interview went well and she said she would call me to let me know the outcome of it. I am proud to say, I got the job!! Office Team is an excellent agency and the team that I worked with, Chris, Justine and Juliana, YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!! They are great to work with and fast in finding a position for you. I've been getting frustrated with my job search after not hearing anything back for a while, but one day I got an email from Fremont Accountemps to set up an interview for the following Monday. Not having much, if any, experience in the field I've been looking for, I didn't really expect to hear anything about a possible assignment for a while. However, to help with that, I was set up with some assessments that would be used to help them find me an assignment. Literally minutes after finishing one of the assessments, I got a call from them saying that they found an assignment for me! I have experienced the worst staff at the Nashua,NH office( Keith and Tara). They act like millennia's and hang up the phone on you, because they cannot handle the conversation getting a little heated when someone disagrees with them. Very unprofessional behavior from individuals who need us to make there jobs work. Obviously not people persons. Someone needs a timeout room or a job change?
