Unlike others like Remedy Staffing or Employee Express or Beacon Hill who almost never talk to you, never follow up on anything, and have little to present, Spherion was on the ball from the word go! They responded the fastest and off the bat gave me four options to look at when the others only had one! I got a job pretty quickly. I wanted to write this review then, but I'm glad I waited. When that job fell through some time later, Spherion supported me and I was able to get another one in less than two weeks. I have been exceptionally impressed by their speed and humanity. I feel heard and helped. Even when having to deliver bad news, they did a phenomenal job, able to discern relevant points in response, and kept doing what was right for me! They are the best without a doubt. They are really active on your behalf and that meant the world.

I had only worked on short temporary assignment over a couple of years ago for Spherion and had not heard from them since, so when I got a call, it surprised me. They called to say that they felt I was unkind to Spherion staff and wanted me to apologize for that from two and a half years ago. They acknowledged that I did a satisfactory job with the one assignment they had provided. Why go to the trouble of getting an apology now after I hadn't heard from you in so long? If it really bothered Spherion they would have requested an apology ages ago.

He is now over an hour late and guess what I've been doing?! Washing dishes! It's my favorite ever to wash dishes in an expensive blazer and heels, especially when I have a catering function to attend to...labor ready, how did you know that this was my favorite thing??? It's not even my birthday! Update: just got a call from a giggly little girl saying Julian would be late - they were at the Farmers Market. Wow. Glad someone got to enjoy their day! (dropped off info in February) They say it's standard practice to just leave "drop off clients" sitting until the staffer gets to it. A drop off client is someone who puts all of their information into the provided envelope and takes it to their office. The delay in finding out how much we owed caused us significant financial harm. When we brought this to the attention of a manager he said it was a "coaching opportunity" for the employee. That is completely meaningless to someone who was just screwed over by your company. Terrible service.
