Dr. Brosi and his dental hygienists are fantastic, but his new office staff is unbearably terrible.

Going back for extensive work as I trust the staff here. I neglected my mouth & dreaded the work but now I'm just excited to have it done. Dr Bucca also recommended a root canal at Dr Franklin's office which was a painless & positive experience. Have had my exam, teeth cleaning & root canal - now will continue the quest for nice & healthy teeth! They also prescribed a toothpaste & even called Kaiser so I could receive a price reduction & quick pick up. I highly recommend Dr Bucca & his lovely staff.

Appointments are often rescheduled, making it difficult to plan or take time off work with confidence. The biggest issue has been billing. Estimated charges rarely match the final cost, and it often feels like a bait-and-switch--services are approved based on one estimate, only to later be told insurance doesn't cover them. We've had the same insurance for years, so inaccurate quotes for things like composite fillings are frustrating and avoidable. This used to be a place we trusted and recommended, but we stopped going some time ago, and after today, my wife has decided she's done as well.

Golden Hills Dental, Coarsegold: 2025 Aug 14 (1 of 5)…read more Jessica, hygienist: 4.5 of 5 It was a day like any other, except I have a dental appointment scheduled. Although I don't have any pain, I wanted to see what a 'professional' dentist says. I found this clinic, not through referral or recommendation, but from a flyer I received in the mail. Once there, I completed their forms - the usual things we do as a new patient. They suggested a cleaning so I said yes. Since I had a complete mouth X-ray several months back, I urged them not to take any more X-rays. While I was waiting, I overheard the dentist telling the patient before me that she needed extensive work, but all that could be done the same day. With that much work, I was impressed. In my mind, I'm hoping that I won't need as much work as that poor lady. After waiting sometime, I was called in for a cleaning. The dental hygienist, Jessica was pleasant, professional and understanding. (4.5 of 5) When my turn came for the dentist to see me, he mentioned the amount of work I needed. He didn't spend much time with me, yet he was quick to diagnose the problems. I was in disbelief. My shock must have shown on my face when he said that. A red flag popped up in my head. I clearly just heard him say the same lines to the lady before me. "This is what you need. We can do the work the same day but you need someone to drop you off and pick you up. It'll take about four hours." The dentist then said Suzanne will go over the cost with me. I was shown into another room, and several minutes later, wearing a white coat, Suzanne came into the room. Imagine how dumbfounded I was when Suzanne said it'll cost seven thousand two hundred and fifty-three dollars for the work. I asked if I really need all that work done. She said she can give me $158 discount, and not charge for the sedation, but it'll still be over seven thousand dollars. I checked myself out with the breakdown of the work and said I'll think it over. I reached out to Golden Hill via email to see which tooth or teeth need immediate attention. I didn't hear back. (1 of 5) Needless to say, I opted for a second opinion. The dentist I went to mentioned that none of the work requires immediate attention, but I should watch out for any signs of pain or discomfort. I am glad I got a second opinion. I am flabbergasted that Golden Hills Dental has such little empathy for their patients. To that end, I'm glad they did not see fit to respond to my email.

I had gone to three other orthodontists before this, and their pricing honestly felt overwhelming--but Thurman Orthodontics was by far the most affordable option without sacrificing quality. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made every visit comfortable. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt confident moving forward with treatment. You can really tell they care about their patients and want the best outcomes for you. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. If you're looking for a place that's professional, affordable, and has a great environment, I would definitely recommend Thurman Orthodontics!

I completed treatment here and initially thought everything was fine, but I was not fully satisfied…read morewhen my braces were removed. When I expressed concerns about the final result, I was told everything "would settle" instead of a reassessment. After my braces came off, I was only seen by assistants, not the orthodontist. When I mentioned that something felt off and that my teeth seemed to be shifting, my concerns were dismissed rather than properly addressed. The retainers provided are extremely thin and fragile. They crack very easily, and I've had to return multiple times for replacements. Each replacement costs $20, and turnaround time for an appointment isn't always quick. Given how flimsy the retainers are, they don't provide the level of stability you would expect or need after orthodontic treatment, even with consistent wear. I asked to purchase a backup pair since they break so often, but I was told that wasn't allowed. When I raised concerns about relapse, instead of offering a small correction, I was encouraged to start full braces again, the most expensive option. There was no discussion of minor or conservative adjustments. Two years later after braces, my teeth have shifted significantly. In my experience, the retention plan and aftercare did not prioritize long-term stability. Retention is critical after braces. Once the active treatment was completed and paid for, the long-term follow-through was not a priority. I am now having to pay out-of-pocket elsewhere to correct shifting that a stronger retention plan could have prevented. If you choose this office, ask detailed questions about their retention protocol and long-term follow-up before committing. I would recommend choosing a provider who takes that phase seriously.

No explanation was really given as to why it's taking longer, they just keep scheduling follow-ups. Makes me wonder if it's cause they want to just bill our insurance. If that really is the case I will be furious, don't make my poor daughter keep her braces on longer for more $. What I am most upset about is their appointment reminder system admittedly had a glitch and a reminder text which I am use to getting was not given for her appt. that was scheduled 2 months ago! If it is their system that failed then we should not be billed, period. I tried to fight it because it really isn't right but the office manager demands I pay because a fee was already waved for a previous missed appt. which might I add was due to an emergency. She was also trying to tell me what she does to remind herself of appts. which is ridiculous, telling me that's it's my responsibility to remember and they give reminder slips which should suffice but from 2 months ago, really?!!! I am getting greedy vibes for sure and can't wait until my daughter gets her braces off, I would never go back here for my other daughter or refer anyone to go here.

Going through my before and afters was a very proud moment for me! Dr. Chad was extremely patient with me throughout this whole experience. He also went above and beyond to personally send me my new trays, keep in contact with me so I could show him my progress, and send me home with a generous amount of chewies and other necessities during Invisalign treatment. The service is slightly slow. I have been waiting for like 10 minutes in the middle of my appointment. They are very good about schedule appointments but they don't do it right after your appointment and you have to call them. Kind of frustrating because I am forgetting to call the ( or rather my mother is) but still the music was good and all the people were nice and the quality of the braces is great and they are gentle,( most of the time). *edit Still in the chair after 20 minutes, did they forget about me?
