I didn't have a dentist in Asheville yet, so I searched around for one with good reviews. I was able to get an appointment very quickly, and Dr. Peterson did a great job with the filling. I ended up making a new patient appointment after that, and my teeth were cleaned, X-rayed and photographed at angles I never knew existed. They don't cut corners here! I've since had some 10-year-old fillings replaced by Dr. Peterson, as well as new composites on my two front teeth where the old ones had chipped. The composite repair took several tries because of difficulties matching my tooth color, but they made it right with no extra charges. I have been blown away by the amazing customer service at this practice, and the overall kindness and awesomeness from everyone I've interacted with here. Price wise- well, I didn't comparison shop, but I'm thinking the prices here are about average for a high quality dentist. You get what you pay for. This place is worth it!

She had the space set up in a cozy manner with lamps and gentle music playing. Throughout each step she was communicative, careful, and attentive. Then, Dr. Patel arrived and continued to provide the same level of compassion and attentiveness. I would highly recommend this practice who anyone who has dentist appointment apprehensive like I did in the past.

They do charge a premium, but it was convenient and the staff and Dr. Jennifer Marks were very nice and I felt I got good care. I had an experience with Dr. Jason where I felt his work was not up to the standards of the care I had always received. (Crowne color and shape were not at all a match. She had done the exact same tooth on the other side a couple years prior and there was no problem at all ). I do not feel he handled it in a professional or kind way. He was demeaning and arrogant. He knew I was not happy when I left and even though he kept saying he wanted to keep me as a patient, it was always followed with a "but...". the office made no attempts to follow up or to reach out. I had no intentions of actually writing a negative review, but it seems they took me off the schedule for my next prescheduled cleaning, as I called to cancel it and they said they didn't have me on the schedule. That was aggressively rude. I never had any problems with her and her work was impeccable. But I'm not giving my money to this business.

I can only say great things about Biltmore Avenue Family Dentistry after some unusual experiences…read more I was at patient there for several years and I have relatively good teeth and other than needing regular tartar removal, my relationship was positive but routine before Hurricane Helene. I have been diagnosed with a progressive medical condition and decided to leave the area following the hurricane and was out of state for multiple months. During the period prior to returning to BAFD in late November or early December 2025, I saw two other dentists. At the time I returned to BAFD, I had a recommendation that I needed to redo all four of my front caps because I supposedly had an infection under all four teeth. I did not tell the dentist, Dr Datla, what the recommendation was as I was suspicious after high prices from the other dentist and a friend asking me "why aren't you taking an antibiotic if you have an infection under all four teeth?" and wanted an unbiased second opinion. Dr. Datla is a dentist and a periodontist, so she certainly was going to not miss an "infection". Guess what? No infection and no recommendation to replace the crowns! I also want to mention that I had a lot going on in my life and plenty of dental benefits that were going to expire at the end of December. The staff was so accommodating in getting me scheduled immediately and everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. After my bad experience with another dentist, I assure you it felt especially wonderful. I can fully recommend Biltmore Avenue Family Dentistry as being a warm and inviting place and as having honest professionalism in every area.

This was one of only a couple dentistry practices in the region that accepted Medicaid & they knew it, yet still made this money hungry decision putting so many young people in struggling families at risk of not being able to get the dental care they need.
