About 10 years ago I was looking to do some landscaping and went around and looked at some places and found out that Bob Ott's work was simply amazing, so I decided to give him a try. From the first time I met Bob, he understood me and knew what my vision was on what I was looking for. He was open and honest about everything from the start, and my house went from a boring no curb appeal to the BEST house on the block. I had my entire block in envy and they all mentioned what a great job I got done. I was amazed when I cam home to see the results. Several years after that, I went from having the WORST lawn on the block to having the BEST lawn on the block. With the landscaping and my lawn, my house looked like a MILLION bucks !!! He also did my landscaping for my pool area, which is several years old, and I continually have people tell me that I have the best backyard on the block !!! We built a custom house on the barrier island 4 years ago. We were looking for something ' different' with our landscaping and hard paving. We interviewed several companies to solicit their ideas. We hired Bob Ott landscaping because of his experience, good reputation and for his creative ideas. We had a lot of work done, hard paving several thousand square feet around the pool and hot tub at different elevations. Even after Sandy not a paver is out of place despite our yard being under several feet of fast flowing water for a few days ( we are one block from the ocean ). Bob's design of the front and side gardens was unique, as was the selection of trees, bushes and plants. Even when our insistence to plant a mini-maple in a 'bad' location failed twice, Bob still replaced the trees free of charge. He comes with his team every May and cleans up the winter mess, plants annuals and by July every passer-by who walks by our house pays us compliments in high regard. Last summer Bob Ott Landscaping began the transformation of our neglected property. I said began because lots of work still needs to be done, and since his workers are so professional I'm going to hire them to work on each part of the transition. Firstly, our lawn never looked so great. We decided to go with the Bee Safe organic lawn care. Bob said to be patient because this treatment may take a while. Well our lawn looks great in just one full season. Secondly, his paving crew installed pavers in our driveway and patio area. We couldn't be more pleased with the manner in which the crew spoke to us each time we appeared and had a question or concern. We now have a beautiful paved driveway and "courtyard" as they referred to it. Lastly, the landscaping crew brought our flower beds back to life and added a beautiful new flower bed at the corner of our property. Bobs prices were slightly higher than the competitors but my husband believes "you get what you pay for" so we went with Bob. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever let my husband make! Our paver patio and walkway came out impeccable and the landscape still looks beautiful to this day! bob has been doing the landscaping and maintaining the Borough of Ocean Gate properties for several years now and has done a super job!! The employees that work for him are true professionals and are very pleasant to talk to and work with. in my eyes his company has taken the borough of Ocean Gates municipal building property to another level. I cannot remember when we started using Robert Ott Landscaping, but it was probably at least 15 years ago - and we have never regretted our decision to choose Bob and his "guys". Whether we have a big job or a small one, he and his team always produce a beautiful product for a fair price. I have used Bob and his crew for over 10 years. I had a problem with the pavers used that was the fault of EPHenry! Bob stood behind his work and redid the job and used new pavers at his cost. Please note IT WAS NOT BOB's FAULT,! It was the product from EPHenry that did not stand behind their product. Everyone of Bob's crew is courteous, professional and talented.
