She never went deeper... I prefer to not have foreign objects in my body so when I opted to have it removed for my menstrual issues, she LAUGHED in my face and said "good luck!" As in, "I know you'll fail!" Well, I didn't fail. I went to my Naturopath and she gave me a massive blood test revealing extremely low progesterone (causing major inflammation) among many other deficiencies (easy to find online after some time and research on my end as well...). My Naturopath then offered several suggestions in terms of herbs, vitamins and nutritional remedies. I can confidently say my Naturopath was on my side, helping me dig deeper. Dr. Pendergrass was more interested in trying to put a Band-Aid remedy on my inflammation that would only help her pay her bills. I actually don't fault her too much for this, as this is what you get from most Med schools -- cover it up until something else happens and then prescribe more pills or intervention until it all spirals out of control and your hormones are out of whack the rest of your life or you opt to get a hysterectomy... because, what other options are there that far down the rabbit hole? I haven't been back to Dr. Pendergrass and am so thankful I listened to my gut. Modern medicine has its benefits, don't get me wrong. I like her as a person... she's sweet and kind. But when it comes to women's hormones -- don't just listen to one doctor.

If you are looking for a physician who will listen to you, advocate for you, and take your pain seriously, I strongly recommend Dr. Pendergrass. I felt respected and heard throughout all my interactions with her. I had been living with bad period pain and was diagnosed with fibroids by a different doctor who referred me to her, but I figured that excruciating monthly pain was just the price of having a uterus and I should just live with it. During our first consultation Dr. Pendergrass encouraged me to not downplay the pain I was in and gave me facts and information that helped me decide to go forward with the hysterectomy, which was an option I hadn't even considered before talking to her. When I had concerns up until the morning of surgery, she took the time to discuss and answer my questions fully. The surgery went extremely smoothly, and the post-op pain at its worst was less than half of what I had previously experienced every month. Dr. Pendergrass responded very quickly to all of my questions through the patient app both before and after surgery. She is honest, funny, she listened to me, and and she introduced me to treatment options I didn't know were available to me. My life is so much better and wish I would have seen her years ago!

Disciplinary action was also taken by the Board in 2024! She never informed patients that the office was closing and was practicing until APRIL 2026. Had I not driven by her office and seen it was closed, I would never have known. This doctor has absolutely made me lose (more) faith in the medical community. One star here is too many stars.

I found Dr. Pearson shortly after having a miscarriage. I was pregnant soon after the miscarriage and I came in uneasy due to the trauma I endured from the miscarriage. From the beginning, she was extremely comforting as well as took the time to really sit down with me, provide education, and showed up with sincerity and good eye contact when listening to my questions and providing answers. I actually had a scare during this pregnancy, and I had to contact her one weekend evening. Her presence on that call was just so grounding, she didn't rush me, she didn't make me feel like there was anything wrong with being worried. She just reassuringly let me know what to do and then saw me immediately for a follow up appointment just one day after that scare to confirm that everything looked OK. Thankful for her and her staff!

I had to repeatedly request for her to send in the lab orders for the labs she wanted to run. Additionally, she did not inform me prior to our appointment that she was no longer taking my insurance (which my insurance company still said she was taking), which led to me getting a surprise bill nearly 2 years after the appointment. Additionally, having to pay the bill via phone was very very annoying given that you can't actually call the office and get someone on the phone. Then I received a past due bill notice--which is even more frustrating given that no one returned my call to pay this bill when I made the call--2 MONTHS AGO. The fact that you cannot pay via online portal is absurd. This was really frustrating, and disappointing. I can't really recommend a doctor who effectively doesn't seem to have any object permanence for her clients.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!…read more Do not be fooled by Dr. Bruner's initial kind disposition, all it does is set you up to thinking everything will be okay, when in reality she will take your money (out of pocket I may add, as she does not accept insurance), and then GHOST you. I traveled from out of town to see Dr. Bruner to go over bloodwork and help with hormonal support. After sitting down and going over things, she informed me I would need different bloodwork and some prescriptions. I informed her that I would only be in town for 2 weeks, so needed to get all tests completed before then, to which she said was not a problem. She then told me she would send in the bloodwork request and prescriptions to my pharmacy later that day - but alas after I paid my over $350 consultation bill and left, I never heard from her again. She does not have a way to speak with a live person, and I have continously called and sent messages through the online portal for 4 weeks straight, starting 2 days after my appointment, when my prescriptions were not called in. The only communication responses I have received are from an AI chatbot that says it would be reaching out to Dr. Bruner, but never came back with an update. After reading some other reviews, where people have complained of similar things, I will be contesting the charge with my credit card company, and taking it a step further to report Dr. Bruner to the Oregon Medical Board for "gross negligence, incompetence, and unprofessional conduct". It is absolutely despicable that women come to her with hopes of having issues helped, when all else has failed - and she in turn preys on and scams them.

I couldn't have made it through my pregnancy without her level headed and comforting manner. Since I was relatively new to the area, I didn't have a good primary doctor or specialist needed for two issues that came up during the pregnancy and she managed to refer me to two great providers one of whose practice was closed. Delivery wasn't the easiest either and the compassion that Dr. Suzuki displayed was amazing and wish she had been my ob/gyn for my older daughter's birth as well. I had originally decided to start seeing Dr. Suzuki based on recommendation on the Urbanmamas website. It was only after I switched to her did I learn that one of our good family friends who is a nurse had her as her doctor as well since Dr. Suzuki was highly recommended with fellow nurses.
