Unfortunately, I am not surprised by the other negative experiences shared in the reviews. It's…read moreeven more disheartening, actually it's disgusting, when it's a woman treating women/reproductive health. Yes, people expect to have agency over their own bodies! lf you too feel like you would like to collaborate with a caring doctor I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. (The office staff and medical assistant were professional and this does not reflect on them.) Dr. Kyle could not muster even the pretense of empathy and in fact achieved the opposite. I left feeling like my very existence was an inconvenience, diminished and dismissed, traumatized- more afraid than ever (directly due to the complete lack of bedside manner, not b/c I was there for an emergency, uncommon or embarrassing issue). To her credit she was able to do so efficiently and with minimal time wasted. It's tempting to provide a play by play of what was at most a 10 min appointment to illustrate just how terrible the experience was- I don't want to share medical details online. Dr. Kyle could have in our short time together chosen to speak a single caring statement and I wouldn't not be writing these words, but did not extend a single scrap of empathy during our short time together. (It still would have been a waste of my time, but a little caring goes a long way.) I was not ONCE asked if I had any questions even though I intentionally mentioned it was my first time discussing imaging results with a doctor and that I have never had any surgery. With barely a glance my way, at my chart and with only a single question about my symptoms, the doctor IMMEDIATELY tried to push me into what I consider an extreme surgery with NO further explanation. I was shut down the moment I attempted to initiate a discussion- asking for "alternatives b/c given my medical history I have concerns re. surgical outcomes." Instead of addressing my concerns I was painted what was to me a terrifying image of a damaging surgery that would leave a long dramatic scar and shown the door.(BUT lol I was handed a FAQ lifted off the web but only the questions were printed- have to click the drop down for answers- I can google things-I see a Dr. to get an experts medical opinion! ) Yes, there is a possible alternative but they didn't even get the referral right- I think they googled it as it was the same place that made the FAQ but didn't bother to check that the procedure is done at the Minnesota office locations. I wasn't given the doctor's expert opinion on how viable of an alternative it is, success rate etc. or anything beyond the name of the procedure and the joke of googled half baked handout. Nor the opportunity to ask. I know many doctors have a hard job that in recent years have faced added challenges. I'm trying to give someone like this the benefit of the doubt- first impression was they looked exhausted/burnt out. I'm not out to bash anyone but to warn others and validate those who have had similar experiences. I genuinely wonder why doctors like this continue to practice medicine. I guess to pay the bills like the rest of us, it's one thing to quiet quit your office job- when one is a medical doctor there are potentially serious negative consequences for patients. In my case who knows I may need surgery, I may not. What I will not do is be bullied into making an uninformed decision about my body to appease a doctor who shows they couldn't care less about me. I will however warn others- I am particularly mortified to read that a doctor so lacking in bedside manner Dr.'s bio says pediatric and adolescents are a specialty.

She never went deeper... I prefer to not have foreign objects in my body so when I opted to have it removed for my menstrual issues, she LAUGHED in my face and said "good luck!" As in, "I know you'll fail!" Well, I didn't fail. I went to my Naturopath and she gave me a massive blood test revealing extremely low progesterone (causing major inflammation) among many other deficiencies (easy to find online after some time and research on my end as well...). My Naturopath then offered several suggestions in terms of herbs, vitamins and nutritional remedies. I can confidently say my Naturopath was on my side, helping me dig deeper. Dr. Pendergrass was more interested in trying to put a Band-Aid remedy on my inflammation that would only help her pay her bills. I actually don't fault her too much for this, as this is what you get from most Med schools -- cover it up until something else happens and then prescribe more pills or intervention until it all spirals out of control and your hormones are out of whack the rest of your life or you opt to get a hysterectomy... because, what other options are there that far down the rabbit hole? I haven't been back to Dr. Pendergrass and am so thankful I listened to my gut. Modern medicine has its benefits, don't get me wrong. I like her as a person... she's sweet and kind. But when it comes to women's hormones -- don't just listen to one doctor.

If you are looking for a physician who will listen to you, advocate for you, and take your pain seriously, I strongly recommend Dr. Pendergrass. I felt respected and heard throughout all my interactions with her. I had been living with bad period pain and was diagnosed with fibroids by a different doctor who referred me to her, but I figured that excruciating monthly pain was just the price of having a uterus and I should just live with it. During our first consultation Dr. Pendergrass encouraged me to not downplay the pain I was in and gave me facts and information that helped me decide to go forward with the hysterectomy, which was an option I hadn't even considered before talking to her. When I had concerns up until the morning of surgery, she took the time to discuss and answer my questions fully. The surgery went extremely smoothly, and the post-op pain at its worst was less than half of what I had previously experienced every month. Dr. Pendergrass responded very quickly to all of my questions through the patient app both before and after surgery. She is honest, funny, she listened to me, and and she introduced me to treatment options I didn't know were available to me. My life is so much better and wish I would have seen her years ago!

I found Dr. Pearson shortly after having a miscarriage. I was pregnant soon after the miscarriage and I came in uneasy due to the trauma I endured from the miscarriage. From the beginning, she was extremely comforting as well as took the time to really sit down with me, provide education, and showed up with sincerity and good eye contact when listening to my questions and providing answers. I actually had a scare during this pregnancy, and I had to contact her one weekend evening. Her presence on that call was just so grounding, she didn't rush me, she didn't make me feel like there was anything wrong with being worried. She just reassuringly let me know what to do and then saw me immediately for a follow up appointment just one day after that scare to confirm that everything looked OK. Thankful for her and her staff!

Not only were the assistant and doctor not comforting whatsoever, but they also joked about her weight and how visible the implant was (she has a lean build). When she let the doctor know it was not numb yet instead of waiting for her assistant to get more medicine she forcefully removed the implant causing severe discomfort and pain to my wife. Even the assistant was shocked when she came back into the room. All because "it was right there" and "she could see it" This is a sad excuse for a healthcare provider that doesn't listen to its patients even when it comes to pain. We will most likely be filing a formal complaint with the medical board.

The appointments with OB's can last anywhere from 5-15 minutes and you get basic attention and a fat bill afterwards. They also will charge you even if the doctor comes in to say "have any questions?" Wash their hands, type a few notes and say goodbye. I received my bill after only being "seen" three times but the last 5 minute visit bumped me into their "group of 4-6 visits" where they billed me for even more than what I was seen for. Don't go to this clinic, look at all of your options of what is going to give you the most support for your pregnancy. A birthing center give you a full hour of attention, love and support that an expecting mother deserves. The clinic is ruthless for bills and making money only. Their intentions are not to make you feel well cared for. At the end of the day, they are a money making machine with below average attention to their patients.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!…read more Do not be fooled by Dr. Bruner's initial kind disposition, all it does is set you up to thinking everything will be okay, when in reality she will take your money (out of pocket I may add, as she does not accept insurance), and then GHOST you. I traveled from out of town to see Dr. Bruner to go over bloodwork and help with hormonal support. After sitting down and going over things, she informed me I would need different bloodwork and some prescriptions. I informed her that I would only be in town for 2 weeks, so needed to get all tests completed before then, to which she said was not a problem. She then told me she would send in the bloodwork request and prescriptions to my pharmacy later that day - but alas after I paid my over $350 consultation bill and left, I never heard from her again. She does not have a way to speak with a live person, and I have continously called and sent messages through the online portal for 4 weeks straight, starting 2 days after my appointment, when my prescriptions were not called in. The only communication responses I have received are from an AI chatbot that says it would be reaching out to Dr. Bruner, but never came back with an update. After reading some other reviews, where people have complained of similar things, I will be contesting the charge with my credit card company, and taking it a step further to report Dr. Bruner to the Oregon Medical Board for "gross negligence, incompetence, and unprofessional conduct". It is absolutely despicable that women come to her with hopes of having issues helped, when all else has failed - and she in turn preys on and scams them.
