Terrifying, they could have been responsible for me not being able to successfully have children…read moredue to negligence with recommending and providing access to a rhogam shot after 2 miscarriages and being A-. The first time they never even mentioned it and I only found out I should have gotten from a friend who was a nurse and it after it was too late. The second time, I still had to directly ask about it and the nurse said "I don't know I'll ask the Doctor Monday" I pointed out that this was 2 days out of the 72 HR window so it wouldn't do me any good and she stated "well he's already left for the day so I'll call you Monday" I replied that they had promised to call first thing in the morning and I attempted to call before then so it wasn't my fault.thankfully I had the sense to get a second opinion and was told to go to the ER to get basic care of a rhogam shot. Thank god I was lucky enough to not be sensitized but they could have messed up my future chances of a healthy pregnancy and certainly cost me an unnecessary ER charge for something that is standard practice.

Worst OBGYN i have ever been to in my life and I a so thankful I have moved and found one way…read morebetter. Multiply times I was left waiting for over 3 hours for simple visits. One visit I had was for a glucose test and a check up, i was stuck waiting for 4 hours and then they told me they forgot to do my glucose test so I would have to be there for another hour and a half. Asking questions was never really an option the doctors did not seem to care at all about my questions and concerns. Being 30 weeks pregnant i was having horrible nausea and heartburn, I simply asked what I could do to help with it and I was told by a doctor "Well, welcome to pregnancy" and that was it. I would never recommend this OB to anyone. I recommend you go anywhere else but here. I will say the women at the front desk and the women who take your vitals are the kindest women.

First off, they misinformed me about the annual checkup insurance. Even after asking repeatedly,…read moreinitially they said it is all covered, did tests, ultrasounds, etc. and then gave a $1300 +$325 bill. Told me later that none of those tests were covered. Second, they misread my reports and frightened me with the name "cervical cancer" and forced me to undergo further procedures. Third, they conducted an ultrasound on the day my periods were going to start (I specifically called them and asked should I come or not, they said yes), the uterus line was naturally thick. They said it was "abnormal" and forced me to undergo D and C surgical procedure. Fourth, they asked about certain issues and then miswrote it on my report and later told me that I approached them for those "issues" and not the regular annual checkup. I had very clearly communicated to them multiple times that I was there for the annual checkup and the "issues" according to them were not bothering me currently. The most horrid thing about all this was that two people (together) of their team cornered me in an office and harassed me when I asked questions and frightened me with "cancer" word and what not. If I would not have been a PhD with a science degree and strong faith on God, they would have gotten me. For that day, I told them that I am not undergoing any further procedures before I seek a second opinion. They kept calling me and forcing me through the procedures, that's when I pushed back and said I will seek legal help if they don't back down. They were banking on the "FEAR Factor", saying they were concerned about my condition. Well, you could not be more concerned than I am about my condition, so give me space and time to seek second opinion. They thought they will lose business, so they needed to pressurize me, rush me. I will admit I was scared, but I did not budge. Being a scientist, I know how reports can be misread or results manipulated, or testing itself could go wrong in so many places. Fast forward to the second opinion: The report was read correctly, the test was repeated on a different day of the monthly cycle (based on doctor's experience, to avoid the commonly known false positive) and I was given all clear. Few fellow patients informed how Howard center was facing multiple lawsuits because of mishandling patients. All the women out there, if you think you can handle all that stress and harassment, you are extremely smart and will be able to look through when you are being misled, of course go to there! But I will never let my friend approach them.

From the owner: Here at The Howard Center, women's health is very important to us. In the late 90s, the Howard's --…read moreDr. Drew and Dr. Kaylar -- were on a mission to create an all-new women's health center tailored specifically to helping women.
