How do you even get an appointment here? When I call, I am first in que and then hold 15 minutes. Then ringing and a recording announces that my patience is valued. Then more muzak, rinse and repeat. After holding 30 minutes I finally reached a call center that took my information and told me I would receive callback within 24-48 hours. No callback so I will be starting the process over again. Never dealt with an office where you couldn't even get an appointment. If I ever actually get to see Dr. Orr I will update this review. read more

Dr Orr is an overbearing jerk and very erratic on his assessments of issues and treatments. One I got a second opinion without his knowledge and when he learned of it he went ballistic saying I am your Doc or not. Do you understand? I did and immediately chose my other advising cardiologist. Do not consider this quack! read more

Was able to get my Mom in sooner than expected due to a cancellation in his schedule. I can't say enough about how helpful his wonderful staff was. Dr Orr was very attentive and professional. Dr. Orr may be a good doctor, but his clinic is infuriating to work with. I have had 4 scheduled appointments over the last 6 months and they have all been canceled. And the very first appointment I had with him I waited for over an hour. Today I had an appointment and showed up late because I was trying to figure out if my appointment was still happening and was told it was not even scheduled. (Apparently I was on the line with his other cardiology clinic, thus why I didn't have an appt). Once I figured everything out I called the correct clinic to make sure I could still come to my appt and they said yes. I show up and they said I have to reschedule because I was late. There was an available appt for later in the day but the nurse there said since I missed this one I could not take that available one since it was on the same day. Talk about maddening. So I now have another appointment scheduled 3 weeks from now and I hope to have a referral for another clinic by then because I can't keep wasting my time like this and more importantly I'd like answers on my heart. read more

I hope you read this, I thought you moved too Colorado, 8 years ago you put a pacemaker/defribulator, in me, i had it checked regularly, last spring i was having problems and was going to go to the EM,I got the jolt, like touching 220v and kicked in the chest by a horse ,1 more in the ambulance then 2 more at tri city, then 5 more i don't remember, I had a blood bacterial infection in my heart valves. Although I do like Doctor Orr it is virtually impossible to call his office. Even though the recording announces that you are "#1 in the queue " you will be on hold for hours and never get to speak to anyone. The calls are never answered. Not very comforting when trying to contact a cardiologist. I have tried calling 4 times over the past 6 days and have been on hold and finally hang up each time after 95 minutes. Dr is fine but today was last straw. I was 7 min late and they turned me away. I took time off from work for this follow up. Last time I was here, they left me sitting in the examination room for a long time until I left. They said they forgot I was in there. My time is just as valuable. Tired of this. My mother has been seeing Dr. Orr for two years. His office staff is the worst. Fernando can't follow through.... The office staff doesn't speak with the doctor. Let's all agree that Stat doesn't mean a week or two. If you want great care and followthrough.... I'd look someplace else. read more

My mother had an appointment with Dr. Orr. We were kept waiting in the exam room for 50 minutes!! The doctor came in and asked my mother some questions. I had a major problem with the way he was communicating with my mother. He was speaking to her like she was senile. My mother is 84, but her brain is there! This doctor had a very flippant attitude and made ZERO attempt to cimmunicate with his patient. Throughout most of the appointment, Dr. Orr stared at his computer monitor, and barely made any eye contact with my mother. The doctor wanted to do a 24 hour holtor monitor. The nurse came in to attach the monitor and told us we needed to return it the following morning. I said there was no way I coulkd do that, because I had to go to work. I told the nurse I was a music teacher and had to teach classes in the morning. She satrted yelling at me saying, "Well, isn't there anyone else you can give this monitor to, and deliver it here tomorrow morning?" My mother does not want to go back to this doctor. He may know his "stuff", but he REALLY needs to improved his communication skills!!!!!! I give Dr. Orr a grade of F! I strongly do not recommend this doctor! I have ZERO patience for bad attitudes! The thing that bothers me the most, is Dr. Orr seemed as genuine as a rock! He seemd to take little to no interest in his patient. On the way out he just left the room without saying goodbye and shut the door. He made both of us feel like crap under the rug!!! Again, I have ZERO patience for bullshit! My mother was assigned to this doctor, and he made NO attempt to be congenial and/or courteous. Dr. Orr, this is a personal message to you: I am a self-employed musician. I own my own music studio. I understand the great importance of taking interest in my violin students and making them feel comfortable, so they can learn well. If I am rude or have an attitude, guess where my business will go??? I personally want to know if we said or did anything to offend you that day? FYI, my mother's Graybill doctors in Fallbrook are amazing (Dr. Huang and Dr. Peterson)! I am writing this complaint to make you aware that you made my mother and I feel extremely uncomfortable. And the way you left the room without any regard, left me speechless. My mother (Frances Monacelli) would like to know what she did wrong to have you behave in such a manner. Just so you know, she was so put off the other day, she does not want to go back to see you. Is there anyway we can communicate better? I want to reiterate, that I was poorly treated by one of your nurses as well. It's stressful enough to go visit any doctor, so I really appreciate when a doctor makes a genuine effort to greet and get to know their patients. read more

Dr. Orr was very warm, courteous and caring when i took my dependent in for her cardiology appointment. He reassured us both and was very sweet to my sister who is disabled - we are confident that her care is in good hands. read more

When I met with Dr. Orr he was hurried and distracted. He even took a call on his mobile phone (non-emergency by his own admission) and logged on to his computer during my appointment! I don't believe he reviewed any of my records prior to my visit and was unprepared for my questions. He was evasive with his answers and did not engender my trust. read more
