When I pulled off the wheel, I found the bolts on the brake caliper were loose and I noticed the nut holding the hub in place was stripped. I took it to a reputable shop and they found problems with every component installed by Monroe. I recently had my car in for an inspection at the same reputable shop and the wheel bearing installed by Monroe 12 months earlier was not done correctly. The mystery noise that I couldn't find after Monroe did their work is now gone. In addition after Monroe worked on my car, I had to shampoo the seat, console, and door panel as they got grease all over them. If you want to pay too much for shoddy work, take your car here. At least the "mechanics" seemed to be good at taking breaks and smoking pot...

It turned out that the car had actually been a rental car in Georgia and had been in 3 accidents. I didn't find this out until it started having lots of problems recently and I went to trade it in for a new car, and actually saw the carfax report. Seriously unethical business practices, do not buy a car here.

Took my wife's explorer in a while ago for an inspection and "somethings not right with the rear differential, plz check it" they replaced the wheel bearings and when we got it back it still had whining noise from the back end. (To be fair, champion ford told her it was because the tires were warn unevenly, what a joke) When the pinion seal went out I fixed it myself and replaced the bearings that were disintegrated in the middle.
