I'm writing this review out of deep disappointment and concern after visiting this place with my 9-year-old daughter. She was told she had to sit on the bench because she wasn't wearing shoes which might be understandable if it were clearly stated as a rule. However, there were no visible signs anywhere saying that shoes were required. Worse than the lack of signage was the way the situation was handled. The staff member who approached her was disgustingly rude in both tone and manner. Instead of calmly explaining any policy, she chose to speak to my daughter in a harsh, condescending way and then went so far as to physically touch her shoulder to steer her toward the bench. I don't care what the policy is no adult should be putting their hands on a child, especially not in such a dismissive and controlling way. It was upsetting, completely unprofessional, and entirely inappropriate. read more

We've come here every December for almost 20 years. We love looking at all the different Christmas villages, picking out our ornaments for the year, and walking through the tree room. My only complaint is that the last two years, they've closed at 5:30. They used to be open until 9. Closing that early makes it very difficult for people who work and that don't live close. This place is amazing! I absolutely LOVE coming here. It's become part of my Christmas tradition since moving here, and helps me get in the Holiday spirit! If you're smart, plan to come early - because this place starts getting really busy around Halloween (like: parking lot full kind of busy)!! It's located in Clearwater on Gulf to Bay, right before you get to the causeway. It's a lot larger than it appears from the road! I usually spend a good 60-90 minutes in here wandering, looking at all the ornaments, trees, and decorations. They have plenty of employees wandering about and available for assistance. I cannot even believe the volume of ornaments they have - they have ornaments for everything!!! Countries, foods, sports, lifestyles, characters and franchises, Alcohol, - anything you can think of, they've probably got it!! It's sooo fun to look at it all! I never get out of here cheaply There's just too many cute things. But it's not just about the ornaments - they have an entire room dedicated to just fake trees! So if you're in the market for a tree, they've got 'em! Also got an entire back section dedicated to tree-toppers (Angels, Santa's, stars, other) and all different styles of lights! The whole store is fa-la-la fabulous but the tree room is the showstopper. It's, well, tree-mendous!!! So, if you're looking for holiday villages-they carry several lines and have huge displays set up. There are nativity sets and manger scenes, a plenty. There's a wall of boxed ornaments and aisles and aisles of individual ones, in virtually every theme imaginable. You can also shop from the decorated trees, that are set up around the main store. There's Christmas China, stockings, figurines, wrapping paper, boxed cards, wreaths of all sizes, garlands, stockings, tree skirts, night lights, tree toppers and lights (oh, the lights! So many option! Only Rudolph's nose shines brighter!) And for tree lovers like me, you'll find every color, from pastel to silver to gorgeous, heavily-flocked white.., and every size from bedside table small to so tall, you'll need the Bumble to put the star on top. Buddy the Elf should winter here. Prices run the gamut, parking is easy (private lot on premises), hours are about 10-5, but double check. They're busy from Halloween on but it's still so fun-all hustle and bustle. They can also sell out of certain items, so go early. (I like September). It's right there on SR 60, not too far west of the Courtney Campbell. You can't miss the Christmas tree sign out front. While driving to Clearwater, Florida, my BFF and I happened to notice this large Christmas store as we rode by. Austin, Texas has a Christmas-themed store too so we were excited to notice it on our drive. We made a promise to each other, on the way back to Orlando, we would no doubt stop and boy were we glad we did! This is a super special and unique Christmas Wonderland indeed! I could not believe the amount and types of Christmas collectables existed much less existed for anyone to buy under one roof!!!! There is something here for ANY person who is all things Christmas. There are themed displays of any type of character or movie you can think of - from the typical Christmas Vacation to even Peanuts and Harry Potter-themed winter knickknacks, ornaments, and all the things. If looking for Florida or tourist-y items be sure to ask one of the friendly staff people as they will directly walk you to that area. There is so much here under one roof that you will appreciate their help. Parking was super easy as it is a large lot and the entrance to the store is off to the side of the building. Like all other reviews state I would definitely recommend stopping in and browsing at the very least as this is a unique spot that you probably won't find anywhere else near a beach like Robert's Christmas Wonderland. What a place to spend a couple of hours! My mom was in town and we both love Christmas. I happened upon this place online and knew we had to visit. Parking lot is small, but we were able to find a spot on the back lawn. It was such a nice place to walk around and see the different trees and all the village houses. I've been coming to this great little store for years. All of my kids know I enjoy visiting this Christmas store during the holidays. They have several villages set up and trees of all colors and sizes with different ornament themes. In the back there is a room with trees and animal scenes and lots of lights. You can buy almost anything that you can think of for Christmas here. I went home with a Bobble Head Christmas Groot, it made me happy. My son came to visit and was happy to go with me. Nothing helps you get into the Christmas spirit like a visit to Robert's Christmas Wonderland! Without a doubt, this is one best stocked and most unique Christmas stores I have ever been in. We were immediately greeted as we came in the door and as we walked through the store every employee spoke to us. As a heads-up, you may want to stop by in October or early November at the latest because some of their merchandise is quite unique and usually flies off the shelves. The price point for their merchandise is at the top end but this is not Home Depot or Walmart. As with most things, you get what you pay for. Sometimes, parking can be a challenge. There's a parking lot just to the west of the buildings as well as the spaces in front of the door. If you you've never been you should definitely drop by. They have displays for many other holidays, too. They had some great Halloween dioramas and doo-dads out when we were there. read more

I was looking for holiday decorations for my communities front entrance, and Robert's Christmas Wonderland did not disappoint with inspiration and merchandise for purchase. Apparently, October is the month to come for the full inventory and a much larger display of all the decorated Christmas trees. This was told to me by the extremely helpful salesperson (I think his name was Shawn), who made a beautiful bow for my wreath. It was so refreshing to find friendly, knowledgeable and helpful salespeople at this business. Maybe a year-round Christmas store is where everyone needs to work! I guess we went at the WRONG time of year, lol.... Everything was picked over and the Store was pretty empty I drove from across town to check this place out thinking that I could get a couple of nice Christmas decorations. This place looks old and dated inside I know it is our old location but they really should look into updating it and making it more 2022 verses 1960.... My son had to use the restroom after our longgg drive there and he said that Someone needed to clean up that restroom because it was disgusting, smelly and kind of scary. I didn't receive any help from any of the people on the floor who work there...but the lady that rang out the two items I did decide to buy at the register was kind. I'm not sure if I would go back I don't know if it's worth the hour and a half it took us to get over there only to be disappointed with the lack of stock and cleanliness. read more

Nearly every Xmas thing you can imagine is in this humongous building: trees, decorations, figurines, stockings, sexy mermen statuettes... the list goes on and on. I try to avoid this place as much as possible but let my mom drag me once every 15 years. That's less a comment on the nature of the store and more of my personal nature at 30 years old. I have to admit, it's fun to be surrounded by the Xmas spirit, even if it'll cost you an arm and a leg to take some home with you. It's very nostalgic to see the little glass towns lit up with magnetic figurines skating on plastic ponds. I overheard a customer, who collects these Xmas town things, inquire about a particular model she wanted, and the knowledgeable staff member knew exactly what she was talking about and engaged her in a conversation that is clearly very exclusive to that type of hobbyist - definitely helpful in a store like that. The back room is the best, packed full of lit up Xmas trees and worryingly expensive stuffed animals. Some of them are crazy realistic. It's a great spot for some family pics or selfies. They do send out coupons from time to time, and you can haggle with the cashier if something is damaged. Besides Xmas stuff, they do sell other holiday knickknacks. We went just after Halloween this year, so the Nightmare Before Christmas stuff was out, as well as some other fun decorations, like witch's cauldrons and potion bottles. Whether you love the holidays or sort of feel meh about getting in the spirit when Xmas is several months away, this shop is, at the very least, a fun diversion for an hour. Horrible experience. The store closes at 5:30 which I was not aware of prior to entering at 5:20. My family and I have made this a family tradition for 3 years in a row to pick our ornaments and get them personalized, we live far enough away so I was not going to make another trip. We were being yelled at by the workers that they close in 2 minutes while we were trying to pick our ornaments and get them personalized. If you are going to have a store at least allow the people that are in the store PRIOR to closing an enjoyable shopping experience. I will never be coming back again. Being from Michigan, I am accustomed to the likes of Bronners outside of Frankenmuth with their megaplex building and massive inventory. There also several large year around Christmas stores in the Detroit area. From the local hype I was hoping this business would be comparable to my experiences in those businesses. This business tries hard to make customers feel like it is Christmas time when they enter the store. I think they accomplish this on moderate level. This is a good place to visit, however I noticed that the prices for comparable items in Michigan were much higher (2-3x) with limited selections. I was there for a college football game and ran across this little storefront that I thought was a card shop, I went to the rear of the store to find a Christmas Wonderland that was absolutely amazing. I called my parents back in Daytona just to tell them what I had found. My parents were big on Christmas decorating and this was just amazing to have a go-to store for all our Christmas needs.
