My friend and I visited for a plan of a late breakfast and possibly an ice cream. We were greeted when we walked in and took a look at the small, curated menu to make our picks. We went with a bagel with locks and a sandwich as well as two drinks from the cooler. As we waited for our food, we purused the local produce and other locally sourced goods as well as the cold cases and also checked out the ice cream menu. They had non-local items too, but I'd say the majority were local. One thing that struck me as odd is that some things had pricing, but it seemed like most (or close to it) didn't have a price anywhere we could find. That is one of my top pet peeves, no pricing. It may be an unpopular opinion, but I think if you're trying to sell something, you should make you're prospective purchaser aware of how much you'd like for it. Anyway, I'll step down from my soapbox. We received our food and sat in the seating area to the right. It had a good amount of seats and nice house plants around. There was also an outdoor patio it could open up to when it's nice out. The food was well presented, fresh and tasty. We opted not to get ice cream (hard scoop: Yummies; custard: Pittsford Dairy; Italian ice: Frank's).... Mostly because they didn't open that part until noon, so we'd have had to wait a bit.

I called in advance to see what the U-pick varieties were for the date I was looking to go because all the varieties are not ready to be picked at once. This year they had an online reservation system set up due to the pandemic. $7 included parking and a small bag of non specialty apples. You could buy more u-pick or prepicked apples on site. When you arrive there is a super cute country store set up with pre picked apples, cider, baked goods, vegetables and other treats. Once you check in there are wagons you can use to lug apples or transport kids which was a nice bonus. The area is large but not too spread out so it's nice to take a family and kids can't go too far. The staff is helpful and knows a lot about their products. Delicious and fresh apples and very clean and well run place. The winery, Leonard Oakes Estates, next door also had outdoor seating. I think there was indoor as well if you wanted. $10 got you 3 generous tastings and an ample choice of charcuterie, nuts, etc. There were a lot of tasty wine and ciders to choose from. Overall a fun day with tons of yummy options to choose from.

This summer me and one of my cousins and our husbands came back to relive our memories, and the place was just how I remembered. Very friendly staff and service. There is a phone number on their website to call which gives up to date directions in terms of what is available and when and where which is super convenient. At the farm they have quart and pint containers, bags and trays for you to use as you go out and pick. Their fields are nice and easy to find. The fruit is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The trouble is the timing, anyone who has picked before knows there is a small window. Strawberries usually come near the end of June and then cherries, blueberries and raspberries quickly follow. Blink and you might miss it, as soon as the end of the school year approaches, use the phone number so that you don't! Coulters seems to have fair pricing for their fruit. Berries all are purchased by pint or quart, whereas cherries are purchased by pound. While they are delicious and worth every penny, be aware the cherries will add up quickly, they weigh more than you think! If you're looking for a fun day, rewarding when you bring home the spoils, check out Coulter farms. Remember to catch them at the end of June, and bring some sunscreen and water, it gets hot out there!
