I got a second quote and ultimately purchased high quality rollers on Amazon and had them installed by another vendor for a total cost of less than $150. That vendor also quoted me $1,300 for a NEW motor and spring replacement. Do yourselves a favor and go get multiple quotes even if you are in a situation where you need a repair done ASAP.

He claimed that the job would require just one day; including, demo work to remove two existing doors, installation of new hardware, two new motors, and the clean up of all demo/debris. I was skeptical because the offer seemed too good to be true. John arrived on-time, on the day scheduled with all materials needed. He completed the work efficiently and left no remanence of debris. I was genuinely pleased with the result, but even more struck by the quality and expediency of all that was done. John configured the remote controls for opening the doors and the wall mounted consoles all before uttering "the job is done"...leaving us with a finished product upon completion. **NOTE: About 30 days later, one of the garage doors was making a noise that didn't sound right. After calling to see if something could be done, John stopped by our house the next morning to take a closer look.
