The selection of artists and titles is wide, and every imaginable genre of music is represented and for sale. --Tom is knowledgeable and observant, helpful whenever a customer is in need, or would benefit from advice, even if that advice may not lead to a sale. --Tom and I had complex, time consuming and specific business between us but he was able to give me his complete attention without ignoring the many customers wandering through a virtual museum of treasures. --The items for sale are select, often quite rare and collectable. I could spend hours investigating the great number of collectables & rarities and will be doing so on a regular basis. --In my 30 years of living in the West County of Sonoma & spending great amounts of time & money in every "Record Store" (most have come and gone) including the 1 or 2 who still have a shingle on the sidewalk, no other proprietor or record store is even worthy of mentioning in the same sentence. Thank you, Tom. - Lew C.

Paintings, sculptures, photos, things to hang on your body and much of it has been inspired by the spectacular natural beauty of the turf where these artists live. The first Friday of every month Guerneville's gallery people open their doors, lay out a few munchies, a cup of something red and shmooze with visitors, townies and members of this intertwining network of people who share goals, points of view and the latest dirt on a couple of their mutual acquaintances. Well-behaved pooches are welcome and you might come upon a few surprises.I love this place and the people who brighten it and make visiting it a special experience.

With that said on our last vacation there as always we always stop at the Art Galleries off Pacific Coast Hwy 1. This time we stopped by Pacific Bay Gallery and I'm glad we did. I love collecting art such as paintings & sculptures and this was the right Gallery to visit. As we walked I we were greeted by the artist/painter Mr. Noki Noki is by origin from Thailand but got his Art degree in US and has been painting sceneries and sculpting for the past 15 years or so. After we chatted about art and his techniques I decided to buy a few of his awesome paintings. I like supporting local Artists because that's one way they'll keep going by doing what they love best "painting". His paintings include sceneries of Sonoma, Napa Valley, Ocean and local Wineries. Also Noki likes to paint animals especially paintings with his dog =) 5 Stars for Noki and Pacific Bay Gallery Also check my pics. Hope you enjoy them!

The entire place is decorated beautifully and tastefully and it doesn't feel like everything is stuffed in every nook and cranny. There is an upstairs filled with more ceramics, beautiful pieces of vintage tansus (Japanese wooden chests) and other forms of delicate art. I even loved the peaceful Japanese garden you can enjoy from inside the shop if you sit and relax on their couch. Ren is such a cordial and friendly proprietor. I enjoyed chatting with him and hearing about his love for Japanese art. He was celebrating three decades of his successful business back in February, 2025. We stopped in for a scheduled gyotaku (fish print) demonstration on this Saturday afternoon. The artist was Chris Dewees and he showed all the attendees how to do an indirect fish print on silk. It was an interesting process using a medium-sized black fish he caught himself! He showed each step of the process and generously shared what type of paper, paints and other supplies he uses. It was interesting to watch this process transpire until ultimately, the fish print was done. He paints in the eyes later. There was a beautiful collection of other fish prints he has done, many for sale. He said he has a story for each of his works of art. He shared a few stories which added to the uniqueness of his art. During a previous visit, Ren invited us to view his larger Japanese garden behind the store. Absolutely breathtaking and peaceful. I understand the merchandise changes regularly so we look forward to visiting his beautiful shop again very soon. This artist's work will be displayed from April 25 - June 8, 2025. Employees are all personable, professional and ready to help.
