Some instructors are definitely better than others. They over book kids into lessons at some ages IMO, which means less overall time in the water practicing and time with the instructor. When I was a kid, we did things as a group, rather than focusing on one kid at a time. My son has a hard time just sitting and waiting for his turn. The locker rooms are very much in need of an update. Rusty doors and just a feeling of things being dirty and musty. In need of better maintenance.

They…read moreoffered 50 kids to swim for an hour and a half, each child had to do a swim test to see if they needed a vest, lifeguards watched the kids during the swim, they have a slide into the pool, staff was friendly and kind to kids. They allow outside food and drink to be brought in for the party. It was a great time for the kids and nice for parents to be able to get a free minute knowing lifeguards are on duty. There was a sitting area in the lobby with a large window to be able to see your kids in the pool space.

He has already made great progress in the short time he's been there and continually sees improvement each week. There are multiple class styles/levels to choose from when you sign up: Individual, group, or parent and child for the littles. Each one has a trained life guard teacher going through various, age appropriate/skill appropriate steps. All steps much be completed before moving to the next level. One thing we like about Swimtastic is that after each session, the teacher gives you feedback for you to work on with your children to master their current level.
