All conversations were followed-up with an email. Emails were followed-up with a phone call. -knowledgeable. Tom knew more about renovation loans than the people who handled them professionally. I'm not joking. -involved. He came to my official signing just to be there to answer any questions that I might have. Mortgage brokers don't do that. I call to check and no one can answer my questions as it seems to always be the "other guy" who has the info. I called Customer Service who said that I should talk to someone's boss... called and left a message and no call back. I call to check on any updates and again, the information is in someone else's hands. I have never had such bad customer service and I am completely disgusted. So my opinion is if you are considering a refi, then you might not want to deal with LoanDepot.
