When my great Uncle passed, it was very important to my Grandmother that she send flowers. She always worries that a florist is going to send old or dried up Flowers. I called the Florist (who was great to talk to) and explained my grandmothers concerns and what she wanted. The florist understood completely. She knew what flowers that were being used in the funeral and we talked and she suggested how we could tie them in but still make them different. Not only was the bouquet they delivered to my mom on her 80th birthday exquisite, they were not about to let a little downed tree blocking her 1/4 mile long driveway deter them from delivering it! They let me know of the problem, and the team at Robin's Nest brainstormed amongst themselves, ultimately getting the Munroe FD to come help my elderly mom dispense with the tree! In addition to the lovely chocolates I had ordered, they brought along a sweet and much appreciated birthday cupcake so she could celebrate properly. I was under the weather in December and was lucky enough to receive flowers twice from Robin's Main Street Florist. Both arrangements were truly beautiful. One was white and red roses and was award winning caliber. Really amazing. The same person delivered both arrangements. I believe her name was Dawn. She was very professional and had great people skills. My large dog as usual rushed to the door and tried to escape but she wasn't fazed at all and handled the situation with ease. If I could give less than one star, I would. I don't normally write reviews, especially bad ones.. but I had to for this one. I was trying to hop in the shower so I could get out of here and I heard the doorbell... Now of course, as I'm LITERALLY, stepping into the shower... I'm not going to run to the door and see whos here (Plus I have a neighbor who has the same address, and I get people here all the time looking for them... ) So as I step into the shower.. I hear the dogs going nuts, and the doorbell ringing again. I step out and towel off... and then the dogs REALLY start to go crazy. I throw on clothes and go out to find the delivery person has opened my gate and come into my yard. Now I have animals in the yard.. that first off could have gotten loose, plus had I had my dogs out... the oldest CAN be protective. By what rights does a friggen delivery person have to just go wandering into a persons closed backyard. I called the owner to complain and instead of aplogizing... I got an excuse and when I got angry (at the situation and the lack of customer service) the owner hung up on me. Yes, I was angry, NO... I wasn't swearing, although my voice was raised. Having owned businesses for many many years... I don't know what bothers me more.. the trespassing... or the owners self righteous attitude. Either way, I would NEVER recommend doing business with her or her shop. read more
