Building itself is fine, small. The classrooms are a mess and don't have any organized toys or…read moresupplies to be used. The supply closet is a mess, along with the kitchen. They don't have a fridge in the kitchen. Next comes staff, the staff seems almost seemed like they were just "babysitting". Sitting on there phones, propping babies up with bottles, allowed infants under a year to sleep with blanket in crib. Another thing, the infant teacher was aggressive putting kids to sleep and handling them. Then said "sometimes you gotta be tough". Then came the end of the day, it was 4 and still very warm outside. The center closed at 6. The kids wanted to come back inside and they didn't allow them to come back in because the rooms were closed. Overall, this is defiantly not a place to send you children.

My daughter started a new job recently and due to her lack of planning skills she was not able to…read moreutilize her first choice in day care. Care A Lot Child Care Center agreed to take my youngest grandchild. I've seen this place for years and never much gave it a second thought other than it would not have been my first choice for child care. I must clarify in that the location does not thrill me and there is not a great deal of literature/advertising for this facility. Lily experienced her first day. Lily is somewhat difficult. Lily is not keen on eating or napping. Lily, after a rough ten minutes or so, LOVED this place!!! She has made friends - for real!!! - and she loves her teachers/care coordinators! She has tried new foods and likes them!!! SHE NOW NAPS!!! By choice!! She is also somewhat upset when she does not get to go to "daycare". I cannot say enough about how well this facility worked out. Clean, well organized and well staffed. Lily comes home happy every day! With a new 'do. Braiding, upsweep, she loves it. Minor point, she will not let anyone do her hair other than her "teachers" at Care A Lot. Again, minor issue however major kudos to the care people! Kindergarten is finishing for my eldest grandchild and she will also be off to Care A Lot for the summer.

Apparently someone at EACN didn't like my picture of the open hot tea on the media cart and voted…read moreto remove it. Due to the limitations on how much you can write on Yelp reviews I couldn't previously add that a final problem we had was EACN's inability to wipe our daughter - she came home numerous days with clumpy poop stains in her underwear because they didn't go in with her! SHE'S 2! She doesn't know how to properly wipe! They simply let the kids go to the restroom unattended and don't monitor them well enough to make sure they wash their hands. We watched while there on a couple occasions as kids simply went in, shut the door for over 5 minutes and then simply came out and went back to playing (yuck!) without washing their hands. The teachers never even noticed. Also their "reading chair" in one room is the back seat out of an old pickup truck. One of the pictures recently submitted by "M.N." actually shows it with a person reading to a kid on it. They're dingy and nasty, not to mention probably dangerous on the underside since they aren't intended as actual furniture. Bonus alert - the walk from the cafeteria area to the classrooms contains an external exit that can simply be pushed open by any kid. I watched a teacher walk a class of kids from the cafeteria back to a room without turning around to watch them once. Any of those kids could have bolted down that side hallway and headed out that door and been gone for at least 5 minutes before being noticed. (There was no teacher at the back of the line.) There's no fence at this particular exit and a major street directly outside. Most facilities have a button out of reach that must be pushed to open the door. This place is seriously rinky dink and the teachers are simply OK at best. Fisher Price should be ashamed to have a place like this on it's campus. Speaking of the campus - don't try to pick up your kids between 5-5:15pm. They block the only entrance (dumb) to the campus by making it a double lane exit only. You'll get turned around at the gate if you try to enter. Why not put in a secondary "exit only" gate with spike strips to prevent entry?? How long has this place been here? What happens in an emergency (especially to kids) and you've got 200 yards of double lane traffic blocking the only entrance?

We are very pleased with the level of care our children have received the last four years. Most importantly, our children are very happy and content. They have always had excellent teachers, the entire faculty has been wonderful. EACN is located on the Fisher Price campus. There is a large, newly designed playground, an indoor gym, onsite nurse, optional gymnastics program, onsite Aspire, huge cafeteria and more. I especially like the location in a neighborhood setting, which allows for classroom walks in the Village and the babies are taken in stollers whenever weather permits. My children enjoy the lunch menu (whole wheat bread is used) and breakfast is served until 8am, and two snacks per day. My son will be starting kindergarten next year. He is well prepared and the transition to full time school will be easier for him because of the teachers at EACN and the preparation thus far. They have done a great job incorporating learning and fun! My husband is a school teacher outside of the East Aurora district. He has advanced degrees in education. We did our homework when we looked at daycare centers four years ago, and it is our findings that this facility has proven to be the best possible daycare to send our children to. We made the right decision!!
