After 2 hours of work, that we paid $443.70, we were told the problem had been fixed as they cleaned out these sewer lines inside and outside the house. We thanked the young man profusely and paid in full with a check. Well, the problem returned 2 days later, 1/7/21 around 6 PM and the water/waste was worse this time. I called Bob at DELO right away , left a message that the problem returned. Bob called back an hour later and just cursed me out with profanities so intimidating , I had to report him to the East Aurora Police Dept. which I did. The police told me not to stop payment on the check as that would be stealing services, however that I should take him to Small Claims Court in Holland,NY , that I will be doing. I have also contacted the NYS Attorney General Consumer Affairs Dept.and the BBB department regarding this company and their services. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DELO DRAIN & SEPTIC SERVICE because other research has shown me this Bob has intimated other customers back in 2014 as well. With another storm coming up we knew we had to get someone in fast. We called Frank Giordano and he came during the day on Monday to assess the situation. He gave us a quote, we accepted, and he would then have to look to see when he could do the job (of course everybody wants their job done first). He called back later that night saying he could do it the next day. We were overjoyed as we knew more rain would make flooding worse. He came Tuesday when he said he would, introduced and described his workers so we knew what to expect of them. He finished putting in the drainage line that day, staying after hours HIMSELF. Before leaving he told us that the next day he would have another piece of machinery here to do "clean up", and it was. With every contact, Frank and his employees (all hard working) were COURTEOUS to us and RESPECTFUL of our property. Frank actually went beyond (a few extras) what was expected of him to do, to which we were quite happy about. Everybody thinks contractors are expensive, but you do have to pay for the BEST and HE IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THEM! I looked online and came across Certified Radon Systems nearby. Their reviews were very positive so I decided to give them a call. Scott got back to me quickly and we arranged a time for him to stop by for a quote. His quote was very reasonable so I opted to go with his company. I am very satisfied with the communication, scheduling and installation. I made a mistake on when the system was to be installed and Scott graciously accommodated my error. Scott's installer, Matt, worked cleanly, was very communicative about what he was doing and had the system installed in about 3.5 hours. A follow up test had a maximum radon level of .3 pCi/L which is actually lower than the average atmospheric level of .4. The results were awesome, you can't beat the warranty and peace of mind Certified Radon Systems provides. I highly recommend this company.
