Well, keep driving around the pond and to the back.....oh yeah, that's more like it! There's a running/walking trail, tons of picnic tables with grills, a covered pavilion, a disc golf course (Frisbee golf? I'm not sure what it's called, but I always see people playing!), a playground, a fishing pier, a volleyball court and a baseball field and plenty of trash cans with dog pooper-scooper stations so you have no excuse to not pick up after your pet! They do allow dogs off the leash here but please be a responsible pet owner and clean up after your pet! It's usually not real busy mostly because not too many people know it's here except for the people in the neighborhood. Wait. I may have just messed that up, huh? lol It's within walking distance of my work so I like to come here at lunch and walk around the trail. It's very well maintained and partly cement and partly small rock. It can get muddy after a rain of course, but that's everywhere. And they did build a wood bridge over a spot that was always flooding, which is nice. If you're in the area and want a nice, well-maintained park to have a picnic, or just walk around and take in the sights (the trail runs along part of Taylor Lake which is part of Galveston Bay), this a great place for that!

There is a very long pier for fishing at Pine Gully Park. Maintenance does a good job of bringing in red clay for areas of the path that get muddy in the rain. If it is quiet you may see a deer or wild hog come out of the brush.

There's a pool, playground equipment, a skateboard park, and the best thing, it's the start of the Seabrook Trails! Ok, so I'm not sure if this is the official start, but the Seabrook Lucky Trails Marathon starts here, so that's what I'm going with! There's a lot of parking, but it does get full when all the runners meet for their runs. BARC meets here on Sundays at 6:30 and Team RWB likes to meet here as well, but those times vary. There are a few different ways to start on the trails, but they all meet up together, so pick whichever route you like. It's about a 6 mile loop if you start here and run down to Pine Gully Park and back. There are some other trails you can take off to the side to add more miles, though, or just do the loop twice for 12 miles! There are bathrooms and water fountains here, plus at various parks along the way, but definitely bring your hydration and maybe some toilet paper if you're a girl as the bathrooms don't always have that. Definitely check this place out. It's a great park, and lot of of fun, plus the trails are definitely a hidden gem in Seabrook!

You'll see a water fountain, a MERR sign (short for merry?) and some statue bust displays of Mr. Hall and Helen herself. It's clear they had some positive footprints on the League City area based on the information written on their bust displays. Small amount of parking, it's worth stopping by for the 5-10 minutes and strolling around forgetting your troubles.

They have shady areas too which was nice since it was so hot out. There are also bathrooms which was much appreciated. They were setting up for a small wedding too which was fun to watch. Definitely a pretty backdrop for a wedding and photos.
