We've been here twice now and the people running the shop are fantastic. We have done paddle boarding, and my kids have tried the kayaks. This is such a great family experience and I cannot say enough good things about this place!

First time kayaking and paddle boarding and my kids had a great time. Christopher was patient and informative that they caught on quickly. The prices are reasonable and everyone we encountered leaving seem happy with the establishment. We will definitely be back.

Very fun experience. Thanks Tyson and Christina for a great time on the water. we bought a pass to come back several more times. Their walking prices are very reasonable, but the pass makes it stupid cheap.

The perfect way to get out on the water and out of the city from Houston, TX. I liked both the stand-up paddleboard and the kayak experience. Tyler was friendly and helpful giving our group tips on checking out the nature "trail".

Spent the day kayaking for my first time. The place was easy to find. The 2 people working were so nice and helpful . We floated around for nearly 3 hours. We had a great time. I can't empathize enough how accommodating the employees were to 2 not so young ladies . They went out of their way to help us and make us have an enjoyable experience. We will definitely return.

We prepaid and waited for an hour but the shop was closed, nobody answered the phone, and no one showed up. A total bust.

Pinky's made it so easy to reserve, communicate when we had to make a schedule change, and help my guests feel at ease on the water! They handle the kayak transportation, life jackets, quick paddling instructions, and even provided dry bags and bottle of water! The two people who run this local business are friendly common sense people, who will work with you to make the trip a good one. The price is well worth the trip! This was my second or third time using Pinky's and they were just awesome.

Great communication too. We showed up at Bay Area Park at our designated time (we had decided on 2pm). The boats were waiting and ready on the dock along with paddles and life jackets. We were offered a dry bag, but we brought our own. We were also given two bottles of water for the trip and loaned a map of the Bayou. We accidentally brought home the map. I need to return that to them. Anyway.... With a very easy launch, we were on the water and paddling. The bayou was low that day but there were no issues. Did you know there are bald eagles out there? We saw alligators but they kept their distance and so did we. However, we did stop to watch when two alligators got in a fight! Tails were in the air, big splashes... It was crazy. I've never seen anything like it and we got a front row seat. Absolutely amazing, y'all! I loved seeing all of the different birds. The osprey were so cool. And there were fish jumping out of the water near our boats. Just a surreal experience. Y'all gotta try Pinky's. Prices are reasonable and they're just super nice people. The experience on the bayou was so incredible, we're already planning to get back out there as soon as the weather clears up.

I hate to say, but this guy is extremely grumpy, rude, disrespectful, and even racist. His uninviting personality was so unpleasant, we left. This guy Tanner calls me the following Saturday to tell me we damaged the jet skis. I told him whatever damage occurred occurred in the days he did not contact us about the damage. He wanted me to come in and resolve the issue. I told him no we have pictures and video and if you want to talk to us it will be through a lawyer. After he called with the scam alert proposal I looked at the reviews and figured out which ones were fake and which ones were real. I never seen a business that had either one star or five stars on all the reviews. It's unfortunate that they only allow you to give one star as your lowest rating. How is this place still in business with all the negativity on the reviews across multiple years? Why would you tell me almost 2 Days later we damaged jet skis and you can prove that we were the only ones that rode the jet skis? This business is sickening to the public. This business should not be called a business. I don't consider this a business.. I consider this a scheme by any means necessary to get your deposit. This is a very high deposit which should ring a bell!!!!The reviews are terrible which should ring a bell!!!! The responses to the negative comments should ring a bell!!!! If you rent from these people it's your mistake. If you rent from these people count on them making up something to get your deposit. Read the reviews first. I did not read the reviews first. The goal is to get and keep your deposit. Read the reviews please and do yourself a favor. The one star reviews are real. FAKE BUSINESS FISHING TO WITHHOLD YOUR DEPOSIT!!!! EERILY OBVIOUS EXTORTION Scheme. YOU BE THE JUDGE. After talking to Tanner on the phone he told me he wanted me to send him the video and pictures we had to prove that we didn't damage the jet skis. He made this request after already sending us pictures of the damage that he said we did. The pictures he sent were of jet skis but it did not have a number serial number or anything in the picture to prove it was the jet skis we were on. You couldn't even tell if the picture was taken in this decade. Why would he want me to send him pictures and video of what we have if we really did the damage two days later? Based on these reviews Tanner and the business owner who I have not met should leave the public alone with their scam and get out of Texas. How about y'all run off into the sunset and brag to each other about how y'all don't have any gag reflexes.

While the lagoon itself is nice, it didn't quite live up to what we had envisioned. It felt more like a very upscale neighborhood pool with some fun features -- which would've been fine had we gone in with that mindset. The atmosphere was more of a party vibe -- loud, crowded, and high-energy -- which wasn't what we were personally looking for. I had hoped for a more relaxing experience, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Considering the price, I didn't feel it was worth the cost. The cabana rentals were surprisingly expensive -- even more than what we've paid at actual beaches, like in Cozumel. The highway visible in the background also took away from the overall ambiance. In the end, it just wasn't the right fit for our family. For the price, I'd prefer a beach day or a quieter pool where we can truly unwind.

The crowd was mostly families, but you could go as an adult group or even solo. Glad they have a pretty large parking lot, so no stress on that. Came here for the first time on a bright Saturday AM at about 9:50a. Place opens at 10a. Come earlier than that, because others do too, and the line moved a little slow. They have a bag check you have to pass through first. Then you get back in line and go to the window, show your ticket, and/or buy your ticket. Then get your wristband. And then walk in. So you can only bring in what they allow, boooo, check their website for what they allow and dont allow before going. But I will say, the bag check was kind of light, IYKYK. Agree that the best move is to come early to snag a lounge chair with an umbrella. Umbrellas seem to be few and far between, but if you get there early, you should be able to get one. It doesn't seem worth it to rent the expensive cabanas, even with a group. We saw some groups doing it, not sure if they actually had paid the $300 fee, or were just squatting there until they got caught. I liked that they had a bar with some beer/cocktail options, so they place is adult friendly and kid friendly, lol. They have a food menu too, since you can't bring in food. I didn't order anything, but my friend really enjoyed her burger. They also had a few food trucks as well. That day, they were actually having a Pirates and Mermaids themed day. There was a Pirate folk band playing on their mini stage for a few hours. After that, they had a good playlist jamming on the loud speaker. The actual pool of the lagoon is divided in half. One half is for people to swim. The other half is for the water equipment rentals like the kaiyaks etc. We got to enjoy some stand-up paddleboading. That was fun. The water equipment rental is for 30 min at a time. Besides the wild rowdy kids surrounding us, we had a fun experience.
