Dr. Moung (sp?), the original owner, is THE sweetest, most soft-spoken, and kind professional I've EVER met! He was my dentist almost six years ago, until he semi-retired. Afterward, every time I was in the office, he stopped to say hello and check in on me. So special! Dr. Ruiz is amazing! He's only satisfied with perfection in his work, has a gentle touch, and is constantly checking on the patient. Even the staff say they prefer Dr. Ruiz to give them the novocaine shot! The dental staff is incredible as well. They show personal interest in each patient, remembering details from one visit to the next. The office staff handle everything with a smile and provide superior customer service, especially dealing with and explaining the insurance details. As most medical offices experience, when some patients are late, it often backs up others (I've been guilty a few times). That said, I'm usually there longer than expected for services so I plan accordingly. I wish my husband's dental network included them because I'd still go there. They've been really good to and for us!

He had staff call back and tell me even if he could squeeze me in and assess, he would refuse to prescribe an antibiotic for my tooth infection, even though I'm an established patient, he blamed concern about my other medications, which haven't changed since last time I saw him, when he prescribed an antibiotic. Sad, awful experience with staff. Complete medical neglect an an attitude that there's nothing I can do about it anyway. They really abuse their position of trust.

I told him that I had always been allowed to be in the room during exams at every other dentist we had been to, he said that I could either wait in the waiting room and he would consult with me after the exam, or we could leave. I chose to leave. I felt that it was pretty sketchy that the dentist wouldn't allow me to observe, especially as he hadn't come out to meet me or anything- so my kids are in a room with some stranger who refuses to allow me in. He was also late getting into the office for the appointment, which also seemed kind of sketchy.

When I got there no one was in the office and they were running late. When I finally went into the back, the dentist look at my teeth and told they look really good but he would not clean them without taking x-ray. I explained that my father was the dean of the dental school (U of M) for many years and x-ray are only needed every two years. I have excellent teeth and all I want is a cleaning. He then told me he takes them every time someone comes in. He got very nasty and ask me if I was a dentist. My reply was no but I obviously know more than you and walked out. Total waste of time and the worst dentist office I have ever been to. He only wanted to take x-rays to make more money on me. They also would not give me back my paper work with all of my personal information on it. This place is a scam and a rip off; I will be calling my insurance provider and letting them know to drop him. Do not go to this place!!! Not very clean office either.

Dr. Rivero successfully completed the extraction, placed a bone graft, and stitched the area--all within about an hour. Throughout the entire procedure, Dr. Rivero was knowledgeable, professional, and reassuring. He clearly knows his craft and took the time to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The receptionist was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which helped ease my nerves from the moment I walked in. I am very grateful for the excellent care I received and would not hesitate to return if I ever need dental work in the future. I highly recommend Dr. Rivero and his team to anyone looking for skilled, compassionate dental care.

I honestly could not believe how quick and painless the entire experience was, I literally said, "That's it!?" when he told me it was over. I highly recommend Dr. Rivero and his clinic to everyone and especially someone who is nervous about dental procedures. Truly such a positive experience!

Even though my appointment was at 11:30am they had me wait over an hour to bring me to the back. This is where I discovered the back area of the office where patients are seen is like an older house, the small homely examination room where I was led into looked more like a small bedroom room that was adorned with antiquated low tech equipment that seemed to come from the 70s. I honestly reevaluated my decision coming there at that moment. Once I was seen I was told that I needed a deep cleaning and to do that they needed to perform an X-ray but couldn't because their machined was being "serviced", I was instructed to make another appointment with the receptionist. You mean the Dentist "knew" I was coming in for a cleaning yet and knew he needed to X-Ray me. So I took a day off work in vain to come in sit for over an hour and then they have the audacity to tell me their equipment is broken! If the equipment was broken, then call your patients and reschedule before they spend time in their day to come in. This was the most unprofessional experience I've ever had in a Dentist Office. Safe to say I cancelled any future appointments.
